Who loved Harry Potter before Harry Potter was over-rated? ME!!!
harry potter is overrated but i still like it. a lot.
Definitely! I love it. My cousins and I would speak to each other in spells and now a lot more people do that. No one would know what we were doing in public. Now it can't go unnoticed!

honestly i think that might be true... i think some peoople just lost interest in it because it became unpopular..... in my school its still pretty popular tho... in my english class some ppl debate on if he's real or not... now thats just dumb tho rite

By the way I like reading Harry Potter :-)

I ALREADY EXPLAINED THIS!!! MY 5TH GRADE TEACHER MADE US GET ON IT AND NOW I USE IT FOR FUN STUFF!!!
I feel like Kenna Bear and Kimberly loVe and Anna are always on this discussion.

I am appalled that elementary school teachers have encouraged students to read such far-fetched gibberish.

why would you have to wait 3 more years?

i agree cuz i thought the books were stupid and my friends told me to just give them a chance and i really liked them.

Would you rather they encourage your kids to read about the holocost instead? Harry Potter is a medium to teach the values of being honest, loyal and fighting for the truth. How is that gibberish?

I had family members, when the books first gained popularity, try to tell me I shouldn't read the Harry Potter books because of the whole "witchcraft and wizardry" aspect (even though 1.) they hadn't read them themselves and 2.) I was an adult, so I could read anything I wanted to). The thing is, though, that in each book, there is a (mostly) clearly defined battle between good and evil, we know who the good guys are (and why they're good) and we know who the bad guys are (and why they're bad). There's a few exceptions, like Snape, but except for the "grey" characters, you know who's on which side and what they believe in and why. And the good guys win, for the right reasons: they're brave, they're loyal, they're willing to fight for what they believe in to protect themselves and those they hold dear. And in my opinion, that's a fantastic lesson to teach kids.

ME TOO!!!!!!!!!!! I WENT TO HER CONCERT ON SEPTEMBER 28,2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It's funny that you say that, because I (who wrote the original comment) used to think it was overrated until my friends forced me to read it (you don't want to know how). Now I am in Harry Potter Club and substitute co-led it just the other day.
