What do you mean link? So that you can add books, or add it to a page?
Shera, LOL! I had to search again and it took me an hour! I want to do my very first reading challenge. It is in this reading group. It's in a September 2013 challenge.
The moderator says "link to the challenge widget." This is to aid in finding the challenge. The html block doesn't have it; "search" doesn't have it.
This challenge is to choose books that have a picture of -- rose, blood, couple, etc.
You would not insult me if you suggest I pass on this challenge. I can tell the "link to the challenge widget" has taken me 2 1/2 hours which could have been spent reading, ha ha ha! Yeah, I'm about ready to call it quits to the challenge!

Just wondering.....this isn't about the group, per se, but I thought maybe someone would know the answer. When you post a review on a book, does the author automatically get a notification of the new review? Or is it up to them to always check for new reviews? Thanks. :-)
Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I am trying to find a series I started. I somehow lost track after the first book and have no idea who the author is or what the title was. All I have is a vague description of the book. It was about leopard shifters. Part of the book took place in the jungle and part in modern society. Women escapes being kidnapped in jungle and is taken to live with a group of shifters outside of the jungle. They are trying to find out who is using plants from the jungle and/or magic to create drugs. The person making the drugs is trying to capture the women because she can help make them.
I know it is vague but that is all I can really remember without being worried I may be mixing it up with other series I have read. I only read the first book and wanted to continue the series. It is not the series by Christine Feehan. I have searched goodreads and the internet but cannot figure out what the book or series was. If you have any suggestions, or a better place to post and ask, please let me know. Thanks

Hello! :] I'm very new to the whole topic system so excuse me if my question has no place here, I don't mean to upset anyone.
I've read a lot of shifter romance but now I'm craving something a little different; demonic love and erotica.
Which demon steamy romance(erotica) books have you guys/girls read and would you mind sharing them with me?
I've read The Lords of the Underworld series and its great, but I want more and I would love it if the characters actually had more demonic features like wings, tails, horns, spikes, furr (more than glowy eyes and a bit of magical abilities, you get my point).
Any plains of romance/erotica will do (insta-love, forced marriage or bond, war prisoner, soul mates, courting, HEA or Not-HEA, etc) I'm not picky, I just really need the distraction and entertainment.

Have you ever read the My Immortals series by Carolyn Jewel? My Wicked Enemy I enjoyed most of them (didn't like the most recent one in that series, but the early ones were good).
Jacqueline Frank also had Demon main characters in the first books of her Nightwalker series. Jacob which I enjoyed.

Hiya! Although they're not demon stories, I've added them to my book shelves, they look like a good read! I also noticed the author's book covers are all pretty neat (I've seen some crappy ones alright, love the change xD).

none of the Groupe reads or challenges have been updated....
hey shannon.... this time of year is hard on the mods... look for some news and updates heading into the new year and sorry for the delays!
I'm not trying to be a jerk but how long do we have to wait to finally have new challenges?
From other postings in this group it looks like there is a search on for new mods to get this group up and smoothly running again from what I'm seeing at least.
