Monica Moss | 34 comments Lol i like rinna the best i think... its so hard to choose.... rinna or enaa. those are my fav

message 57: by Redwallcrazy (new)

Redwallcrazy (redwallcrazybigkotfan) | 30 comments If I had to choose between those two, yay, that would be a hard choice, they are both sooo cool.

message 58: by Monica (new)

Monica Moss | 34 comments i no!

message 59: by Redwallcrazy (new)

Redwallcrazy (redwallcrazybigkotfan) | 30 comments It's like if you go for powers, Rinna has Tree-speaking and people speaking, where Enna has wind and fire speaking, and those are both cool and can be used in different ways. And if you go for character, they are both so opposite, where Rin is quiet and thoughtful, Enna is not so quiet and forceful. But they are both cool that way, so to decide between them.....

Clarissa (lemai123) | 19 comments My mom has signed copies by Shannon Hale and a lot of my friends said they were good and also my brother said they were good, so I finally sat down and read them and I fell in love with them.

Rachel Gough (lapetitechaperonrouge) | 1 comments My mam borrowed Enna Burning from the Library for me when I was eight and since then Shannon has been one of my favourite authors :)

message 64: by Emily (new)

Emily | 1 comments I was introduced to Shannon Hale from my roomate who owned Princess Academy. I was deturmined to read all of her books by the end of the year. It took me about 50 pages to get into princess academy but once i did i loved it. Its in my top five books. I tell all my donors - i work at a plasma donation facility - to read it. I tell the men that their daughters need to read it. Its so good!! Then i read Austenland, and then the books of Bayern. Also amazing!

message 65: by Madeline (new)

Madeline J. Rose (madelinejrose) I got Princess Academy for one of my birthdays and LOVED it. And then I learned she has written more books.

Eve | 7 comments My grandma loved her books, she told my mom, when I was like 4 I read rapunzels revenge and now she is my hero. No I mean seriously I want to be an author like her and she is my inspiration

message 67: by Libby (new)

Libby (musicalbooklover) | 3 comments I was about 7 and my mom took me and my sister to Barnes and noble, and back then I didn't like reading that much.So I was walking around and found princess academy and I just loved the cover, and so my mom bought it for me and tried to read it to me but I didn't really like it.4 years later and know I love reading and was looking through my closest and found it and read it in one sitting. I was so in love with the book and so upset that it ended. Likely for me I only had to wait 3 months to read palace of stone and I loved that even now. Ever since then Shannon Hale has been one of my favorite authors.

Erin (everettrox) | 2 comments My aunt found The Goose Girl in a secondhand book shop. As soon as she read it, of course she fell in love! She then passed it along to me and ever since then I've just been in love! Even though it is so sad that someone didn't want their book anymore, I am so happy they gave it up because I probably would have never known.

So a few years back I was at my public library and I asked a librarian for a recommendation and they told me I should read Princess Academy (Princess Academy, #1) by Shannon Hale and I really liked it so I checked out some more of her books.

message 70: by Leah (new)

Leah R (nancyaustin) | 2 comments I believe that Princess Academy was the first one that I read. I remember seeing it at the library when I was about eleven or twelve years old and thinking " Hey, this looks like a pretty cool book, it's about a princess school!" Little did I know that Shannon Hale was about to become one of my favorite authors. I read the book and I could not put it down, it was amazing! It had an exciting plot, amazing characters, and an amazing story. After reading Princess Academy I read Goose Girl. Somehow, Goose Girl was just as good as Princess Academy, or maybe even better!! I was completely enthralled. There was absolutely no way I was putting that book done. I huddled under my covers, my hand growing numb as I gripped my flashlight. Quickly, I turned the pages, enraptured in the suspense of the story. I kept on thinking " Just one more chapter, I just need to find out what's going to happen next." Next thing I knew, I had completed the book. For a quick minute, I thought I was an amazingly fast reader, before I glanced at the clock.... and realized it was two in the morning!! Yep, I was hooked on Shannon Hale's books, and the amazing characters, wondrous lands, and exciting plots that came with them:)

Jessica (JT) (jessicarugg23) | 1 comments I saw "Princes Academy" on a shelf in Barnes and Nobil and I loved the cover. The pretty cover drew me into reading the back and I asked my mother to get it for me. I loved it so much that I had to get all her other books (which were not that many at the time). Now I am an adult, but I still love reading everything she publishes.

message 81: by Erin (new)

Erin (everettrox) | 2 comments My aunt found The Goose Girl in a random used book shop (why anyone would want to give up such a treasure, I don't know) and brought it home to read. She fell in love, so of course, she got me hooked on all of Shannon Hale's books.

message 82: by Andie (new)

Andie N (andie-n) I read Princess Academy b/c someone told me that Shannon Hale was a member of my religion, and LOVED the entire series. Then I found out she had written The Books of Bayern. Happiest day of my life!

message 83: by Rachel (new)

Rachel | 5 comments I found out about Shannon Hale because I was bored at the library and I couldn't find anything to read so I grabbed a book that seemed promising. It was the 4th book of the books of Bayern. My mom told me to read Shannon hale books. i didn't realize that it was the 4th book. My mom told me. I read the goose girl. I haven't read the rest, idk why. i am gonna. So yeah that's how I found out

message 85: by Saniya (new)

Saniya R (saniya_r) One day, I was ordering books online (Library app), and then it suggested “Real Friends,” since at the time, I was reading lots of graphic novels. I decided to order and read it. I fell in love with it, and read the other two in the series. Though, I wish their was a fourth book.

message 86: by Emma (new)

Emma Stauffer Yeah my mom used to go to a book club, and she got real friends for me. So I read that whole series, but then my mom also showed me goose girl and that really got me into Shannon Hale.
