Lindig | 167 comments Often, there are several (or many) editions of a book. To edit the title, say, to add series info or fix a typo or whatever, requires going to each edition and making the same change. Unless, of course, I've missed some easy way to do this.

Would it be possible to have a button to choose "apply to all editions"?

Isn't that what the "set as default description" button does?

Just a thought.

There is no way to edit all titles at once. This is deliberate; sometimes a book has been published under more than one title, or has non-English editions, etc. Only the default description and the work items (bottom section) can be edited on multiple books simultaneously.

Lindig | 167 comments I know (droop); I just thought it would be nice to be able to do when all the titles *are* the same.

Ah well.

It would. It was great fun the time I was working on series numbering for a series that had dozens of editions of each title. >_<

Lindig | 167 comments Okay then. No fun for the wicked, eh? No, wait, that's not right. Never mind, I'll just find my fun where I can.
