I don't need any from my TBR list. I only have five books on that list. One I will read tomorrow, one I won in a GR giveaway but was never sent, one I started to read and lost and haven't had the urge to find again, and two that I saw on GR and just marked for fun but have no intention of ever actually reading them.

Mt. Toberead maybe a mighty peak, but I've yet to see the need to list all the books that I own that I haven't read. Nor do I like to list all the books that I someday might read.

I've never tried this challenge but throught I'd give it a go this month. I would prefer something from my TBR list if possible as it is huge and I'm a bit strapped for cash at the moment.

This month partners will be recommending from your TBR list AND new to you authors/books.
Just pick one from their TBR choices for you.^.^

How many recommendations do i need?

Yeah, Rossy, what are the recommendation rules for May? I noticed you said that you changed them but I didn't see them...Maybe I just missed them...LOL :)

Third post in the list outlines the new rules. The salient points are:

Make eight picks for your pickee - four from TBR and four from totally new books.
Make your profile public until the 2nd.
Failure to follow the first two rules will result in a summoning of the wild hunt.

Of course I may be paraphrasing a bit.

I think the rules are new this month, Gigi. There were no rules about the amount of recs before now...at least not that I ever saw. LOL.

Jim-You did a wonderful job paraphrasing my friend. Could not have put it in better words myself, without sounding like a teacher!LOL

Angela-Don't worry i will remind EVERYONE after i post the pairing list. I had to ask because somebody might forget to come back on the 2nd, and this way i can remind them to make the recommendations. I do not want anyone left without a partner.

Leah & Gigi-This will be the first time we're implementing the AMOUNT of recommendations. I wanted everyone to get an equal number, that way no one would feel they had too little or too much.

Since this challenge was started there have been certain silent rules, i just made them more solid this month and added a few others to help new members. It's been really good so far, my placing the rules is just to keep us organized.
