Similarities/ Differences, Pairing Elements

So this is about how you can pair up the different elements and say haw they are different. (this topic might have a lot of lists) I kinda talked about it in "the before" briefly.

in level of importance? what do you mean? they are ALL important. this is about pairing up their similarities
for instance:

Earth and Water cannot bend if they don't have any earth or water. (air might get in on that group on a technicality, if under water or in space and stuff....)

Fire and air (see afore mentioned disclaimer) casn always bend.

Why can fire be bent always? I don't get it.


I understand how there is always air everywhere.
HEY, I can still minorly bend underwater because water is 2 part Hydro and 1 part Oxo so there is a tinsy weensy bit of air i could bend, maybe to breathe or let someone else breathe. Cool right???

fire needs air to bend, yet is balanced by water. Air needs earth to exist (mostly, because plants make air, but doesn't mean there isn't some already, but that will run out and turn into CO2) but then how can it be balanced by earth? (explain on that). Earth needs fire because with out it it would never grow things (same can be said for air needing air). And water needs ,air because it's made with air (quote faith, 2parts hydrogen, 1 part oxygen). I was feeling very technical.

Earth + Fire = Lava
Fire + Water = Steam
Water + Air = Clouds
Air + Earth = Sandstorm
Earth + Water = Mud
Air + Fire = Smoke

Fire- Must have Earth and Air to fuel
(enemy Water)
Earth- Must have Fire (light) and Water to fuel and Air to shape (rock)
(enemy Air [plants])
Air- Must have Earth to fuel
(enemy None)
Water- Must have Air to fuel and Earth to contain
(enemy Fire)
I think this will suffice I made it up real quick notify me of any changes that must be made

oh ya! but do ya think air's enemy is earth because it's the complete opposite? and isabel said mi idea of one of earth's enemies could be water because it erodes it is wrong because the earth bender could just put it back together. but that would take a long time and just like the air in water thing, they would have to pick apart the molocules from the mud, which is what we said u get when you mix water and earth, so not pure earth anymore, ie, very hard to earth bend!!! :DDD i feels so smarts!

i don't think you get the whole air/earth enemy thing. They are not enemies, they are opposites! Of all the elements we are probably the most NON-violent! We are opposites because air is always changing and shaping itself. it is flexible and always bounces back. Earth is stable and likes rules. It is a stubborn element. I like math because it has rules and sticks to them, it keeps it's shape.

I like Language Arts because there are no boundaries, no limits, and if I break a "rule", it's for the better of myself. I can do anything.

I think science is boring because why would you go analyze every ounce of everything that happens when you could just live life instead!! I mean, I need science to become a marine biologist but I think that in that matter, we should only learn about the things that would benefit us in life (aka NOT HOW TO BUILD A CAR!!!)

i like science because i really enjoy blowing stuff up, lighting stuff on fire, doing experiments, and learning about the light spectrums and what we can see!! (like what if theres more colours of fire than we think?...)

Black is the daaaaaaaaarkest color. maybe if it lights in a light room, it does the opposite of give light, but rather give darkness!!! Fire benders r the only ones who can control it!! :P

ooooooHHHH!!!!!!!! i luv that idea! ! ! ! ! ! :DDDD ya, maybe it wood give off a 'dark' light only fire benders can see, or maybe that type of fire/light is in their eyes and they can see in the dark like me!!!! :DDD and maybe if they light a dark fire, it gives off a dark/black light that lights up the room, but doesnt give off shadows!!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
