Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments I vote just talking about who you are. That should be hard. Anyone agree?

Actually for this thread "Randomness: Just Chat" there is no real "Topic" in post #143 I was referring to some of the other threads, like ones that are supposed to be on topic of movies and end up talking about what was for dinner last night. Or favorite enemies that switches to what the latest hot pop-band is. That sort of thing.

I realize it is difficult to hold a conversation to just "one" topic, but on these boards when you expect one thing from a thread, and then two pages later everything is just random reactions to the previous post for the next 10 pages it does get a bit confusing.

Well most of us are teenage girls, so.....we can go anywhere with our conversations....I mean, take the Your Favorite Doctor's Enemy thread. We turned it into a roleplay! WITH RIVER!

We should try!(:

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Okay, who will start?

message 156: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Not me.

message 157: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments I will. Ready?

message 158: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) I'm always ready for anything. But technically, haven't we stayed on topic for the Four Word Stories? There's 800 posts on that one, and it's stayed pretty much on the same topic that it was started for.

message 159: by [deleted user] (new)

Who knows, that might be impossible for me. In a 10 minute conversation my friend and I got from talking about school, to talking about the old sweaty guy who runs down our street everyday (although not lately, we think he died), and then to Doctor Who, and then to how the boys in our class enjoy throwing pencils around the room while the teacher isn't looking.

Being random is in my genes, I think!

message 160: by [deleted user] (new)

Mine too. Maybe that's why me and Kirsty get along! (sortof)

message 162: by [deleted user] (new)

Purple. *walks away*

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Ok, here I go.

ALL: Hi Laszlo!

message 165: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Hi, okay who's next.((Maybe we should go around a few times.))

message 166: by [deleted user] (new)

((dunno what you're doing......A little help for the noncomprehending, please?))

message 167: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) I think we're having a group therapy session! Oooh, I love therapy!

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 1146 comments Mod
Yes a DWA meeting.
Hi I'm Kirk and I... I... I'm a Doctor Whoaholic. :)

message 169: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Hello, I'm Eris, and I'm addicted to Doctor Who. But, but, but... I don't want to be cured.

Who said anything about being cured? We aren't that kind of therapy group, we're one of those enabling groups.

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Oh, good! :D

June 15, 2012 is when my addiction started. In the space of 40 days, I have become a full blown addict, and I have converted three people to my addiction. I am corrupting people! I should be ashamed but I'm not. :)

I'm also a Torchwoodaholic and I usually call myself a Whovian rather than a Whoaholic. Same thing really I guess.

message 174: by [deleted user] (new)

I guess I'll join in. *sigh* I'm Rosa, and as you can tell, I have major obsessions were Doctor Who is concerned. I WILL NOT BE CURED! I WILL CONVERT MY BROTHERS!

message 175: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) No, we do not convert, we assimililate. :)

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 1146 comments Mod
Don't forget your sisters also, they must be upgraded as well.

message 177: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't have sisters.........otherwise I would......

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Eris ~ I am Nemo wrote: "No, we do not convert, we assimililate. :)"

10 points!

message 179: by [deleted user] (new)

Ooh, are we doing points now?

message 180: by MythMythol (new)

MythMythol (mythmythol) | 31 comments Points for what?

message 181: by [deleted user] (new)

I dunno, Laszlo said 10 points!

message 182: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments In a different thread, we said that if you get 100 points you get to go to Galifrey!

message 183: by [deleted user] (new)

That's true! We should make a new thread to keep track!

message 184: by MythMythol (new)

MythMythol (mythmythol) | 31 comments So..If we get to go to Galifrey..How would we get their exactly?

message 185: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments We take a trip in the TARDIS!

message 186: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah! Eris won a TARDIS! We can use hers!

message 187: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Awesome!

message 188: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments But we will have to learn how to speak the language.

message 189: by [deleted user] (new)

I can write Gallifreyan! Twila taught me how.

message 190: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Ok, show us!

message 191: by [deleted user] (new)

It's circles. I need actual paper. And I don't know how to post pics.

message 192: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Oh, I have seen that, but how do you speak it?

message 193: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, that I don't know. We could try to find the Doctor.

message 194: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments How about we try to guess.

AH=HELLO

How about we go around giving words.

message 195: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) We don't need to speak the language in order to go to Gallifrey (ignoring the Time Lock that has been placed onto all travel to Gallifrey, of course). We can pretend to be mutes, and all we have to do is write out the language.

And I think I have about thirty points right now, although Rosa did gift me with a free TARDIS. :D

message 196: by [deleted user] (new)

Guys! We're off topic again! That was let's see, 34 posts? Guess the idea of staying on topic for 100 posts is out the window!

message 197: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) This is the Just Chat thread, though, so anything we say will not be off-topic. We're chatting, after all!

message 198: by Laszlo (new)

Laszlo (steampunk) | 774 comments Yes!

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 1146 comments Mod
And it is in the "Randomness" folder sooooooooooo. Technically the wibbly wobbly timey whimey straying off-topic doesn't apply in this particular thread.

That being said anybody got a nice cup of tea? I don't mean some exotic herbal stuff, just a your standard nice warm cup of tea... with lemon... and the option of a bit of honey... and possibly 1 or 2 lumps of sugar?

But isn't the Doctor fluent in all languages? He could be our translator!
