Not to be a debbie downer, but the only reason why the Church said December 25th was the birth of Jesus was because all the Pagan holidays were around the same time and it was easier to convert them if they didn't have to change when they celebrated things.

Oh, funny fact about me. When I was little my Gran used to tell me that I'd better be good or I'd get coal for in my stocking. So I assumed that really poor people would be bad on purpose so they'd get coal and be warm for Christmas. haha.

I played soccer a bit in high school, but I have terrible depth perception. So me being goalie would never work. I was a forward, I went to a small high school and while there were a couple people that were pretty good on my team (I was not one of them) as a whole we weren't very good. Most of our games ended in a 0-0 score.
