After reading all of the reviews for this book I have come to the conclusion that we may not all agree on who Daniel was. Who do you think he was? Did Luke name him Daniel, and if so why? Did Luke choose him, or did he choose Luke? Did Daniel wish for Luke to live, or to die? Did Luke wish for Daniel to live, or to die? What spurred Luke to seek out the New York Times, and why did his discovery make him smile? Why was Luke's grandmother's doll hanging off the chandelier, and what was her obsession with the baby?
