The Store

Bill Davies, the protagonist of the story, is becoming increasingly concerned as The Store has taken up residence in his small town of Juniper and its tendrils have snaked into every aspect of the town's workings. There are surreal goings on from the store manager and his twisted employee handbook to the strange, puppetlike night managers that roam The Store. A great story as only Little can tell it.

This was an interesting premise. A national chain comes into a small town and destroys the local economy. It is accomplished slowly, insidiously and sometimes with a supernatural twist. I want to know what King is, what the night managers are and what happened to Sam. These are all questions that add to the 'Horror" nature of this novel.
