Hmm, while I can't decide if Magic Burns was better than Magic Strikes, I adored them both!

I found this series one day browsing the bookstore to see if anyhting new jumped out at me. Almost picked up all three, then figured I might want to check out the first one to see if I liked it. Finished it in no time and was back shortly after to get the other two. I think I read them all in about a week....and have been suffering withdrawal until the new one came out. Close to finishing and it is amazing.

I like both books, but I do think that Magic Strikes was better, they both got 5 stars but if there was a 6th star then I would have given that to Magic Strikes. I really liked the idea of the Midnight Games and I loved how it ended with Currans dinner proposition

i just finished this and it was sooooo good. the beginning was a little hard to get through but after that i loved it and couldnt stop reading. cant wait to get the second book.

I don't know why the beginning is so hard, but yeah it is. They really hit their stride after the middle. #3 and #4 are the best, I know you will love those. Also, once you finish #3 or #4 -- you will have to read all the snippets for #5 on their website and I think you already downloaded the Curran POV -- but those are really nice to read (but you need to finish #4 to do so). I wish I was you and could start them again!

I read what your review said, how he was your favorite shifter. Man that is a hard thing to decide. Curran is amazing though. But I also love Adam, Samuel, Bran, Charles, Alcide, Jacob ..... :)

i havent read that many shifter series though...like i read mercy thompson, shifters(book 1), jacob from twilight and curran from magic bites and i'd say like curran is first for me and then adam from MT...followed by many others from MT....i like the MT shifters quite a bit. but curran and adam...so hard...but i choose curran! 8)

no....i reserved that at the library when i was reading the mercy thompson series and im still waiting, the hold list was long. i think before i was like number 150-175 in line....now im number 71 in line for the book at the library.

Wow, they need to order another book. That is ridiculous!!! I have been number 150/175 but that is when the library has 50 copies. Can you join other library systems? Or do they have an ebook version www.overdrive.com and you can read it on your computer?

oh, no. they have more than 1 copy, they have 23 copies...people probally keep it the full 2 weeks though(i think its 2 weeks is how long u can keep it)....but yea. i may read the ebook version instead after i finish the shifters and kate daniels series...but yea. thats crazy. ive been so busy this month wit school and work...my next break is end of august so ill definity have time then..during my breaks i usually have time for 3-4 books a week.

When I get high demand books like that from the library I try to return it quickly -- I hope others do the same. When I got Silver Borne (in May), I could tel the person who returned had it only for a few days, the same for Lover Mine. Which I really appreciated it. But if you are busy, I guess it doesn't make a difference. :)

i love demonica series. it is amazing! if u like the first one just wait til u read the others. everyone including me seems to like book 3 and book 5 the best. wraith has my heart. ♥

well the good thing is at least you dont have to wait for the last book. just came out last month. i was dying to read the final book in the series. and it was soooo good. i think i really liked the first one b/c i thought it was very interesting, wit the whole demon brothers running a hospital. it was great.

The good thing about 4, there is no cliffhanger, there is a semi one at 3 -- meaning waiting for the dinner! Yes, the one with Raphael references the dinner at the end of the story -- Kate gets ingredients to make the dinner. ;) (Kate is in it briefly for about 10 pages). There is also a short story in Dark and Stormy Knights, it is about when Kate first met Saimen -- but you need to read #4 first or else you will read spoilers. The short in Dark and Stormy Knights is actually good, I don't usually like shorts. I don't think the book is worth buying, but I checked it out from the library to read.

haha. dinner promise...i couldnt stop laughing. after kate said she would do it, curran was like do u promise? hahaha. no i havent gotten to the bath part yet. read as much as i could til i had to go to wotk yesterday. im at the part where rapehal and kate r about to go see julie at skool and they were talking about curran...i cant wait to get to the bath scene! i bet its pure hottness!
