Well that sucks. I hate when people stare in public. Rude!

How is that series? Would someone who doesn't normally like paranormal like it?

Cassi I bought a really good quality hardback edition of A Spy in the House
for $1 today. I'll let you know when I read it.

Finished:
I'm sad the series was over, but I liked it a lot. The end was not really what I expected, but I'm satisfied with it. Still digesting it ... It was a lot to absorb.
And now I'm back to re-reading The Book Thief! <3

Ok, so I really enjoyed Unearthly, Heidi. I'm on the fence on whether or not you'd enjoy it. Ignore the insta-love, maybe? It wasn't too bad. ;-P
I started the book thief. I haven't had much time to read it.... and I am so tired. I really want to read it but I know its better for me to go to bed and just veg and spend tomorrow reading it and a few other books
You can't go wrong with Agatha Bluemoon! Thanks for your thoughts on Spy in the House - I am excited to read it. :)
Kaylani I know you have health things going on but this weather changing constantly in the Midwest makes me tired by 8:30 p.m. every night!

Haha I hope she doesn't do the same thing. I don't think she's going to continue it though, since she's starting a different series soon. But, who knows ...

Heidi (trust me) wrote: "Let me know if it is good :) I am still working on Everyday (nearly done I'm on the last part of the audio) and just getting into Etiquette and Espionage. Finished Scarlet and did not love it as..."Heidi, what do you think of Everyday and Etiquette & Espionage? I started listening to Everyday on audio but haven't gotten back to it -_- not sure why - I'll give it another go. The plot line is interesting. Etiquette & Espionage is a fun read so far :-) I didn't realize it would be a steampunk type of book!
Charmaine I liked the audiobook narrator for Every Day and the book was good overall but I gave it 3 stars because of some issues I had --- especially with the ending. I think it is worth the read/listen so others can decide for themselves. It did start to remind me of Before I Fall where it got repetitive but not as bad as Before I Fall IMO.
I am enjoying Etiquette & Espionage. I love the authors other steampunk series Soulless
so I hope I love this new one!

I'm SO back to restless reading. Can't get into much of anything at the moment. I'm reading a couple fantasies, but they are both kind of just...moving along. I tried some graphic novels, but gave up because they are just bad and/or boring (a lifetime of reading SO many stories just makes the bad ones stand out that much more). I'm still working on a couple though.Sigh. I guess I'll just keep chipping away here and there and something will eventually stick. Or I need to take a break for awhile. Except...I can't fathom going without reading. It makes my brain sad just thinking about it. (No food for you!) :P
I'm sorry you're having trouble getting into any books right now, Lloyd. I typically read 2-4 books at a time and once in great while I'll read one straight through. I hope you find one that sticks soon.I'm still reading The Book Thief and am starting
.
Hey Lloyd do you have "filler" books you read in between other books? I think that helps. I read 1-2 cozy mysteries (my fillers) and then go onto more serious and/or less frivolous YA or adult books. If I try to read more serious books back to back I get into a funk so this system seems to work best for me -- not sure it would work for everyone.
Becky I hope you love the Book Thief *crosses fingers* I gave up on the Host after about 100-150 pages. Everyone says it gets better but that writing style (long and wordy) is just not for me.

Ugh, for some reason this thread got pulled out of my notifications so I haven't been on in a while! I finished
and LOVED it! Now reading
for a Read to Review :)
Heidi: I don't know if I'd call them "filler", but I often do find myself reading several books at once.I think I've gotten sucked back into my 2nd reading of
. Having to just watch certain events being set up...I find myself wanting to yell out at the characters like some comedy skit. "Don't do it!!!" It's been long enough since I've read it that I don't remember all the details...but I remember enough to know the smell of tragedy from a distance. Oh, the horror! And I have hundreds of pages to go before I get to stand witness to it again.But...once I do finish this one, it's all new to me from there! I had to wait SO long for new books, that's why I figured I'd re-read the first three. I'm so far behind on that goal, there are now TWO new books to read! (It's always possible there will be a sixth book out by the time I finish 4 and 5).
And...I'm right back to needing sleep. Sigh. (Thus my senseless rambling)

GOT is not a filler series!! hahaha -- Lloyd that is exactly why I can bring myself to read book two in that series. I have heard too many bad things happen to characters you love so I don't want the pain!

David I have 15 pages left of Star Dwellers
and I smell a massive cliff hanger coming on so I don't want to finish it! Ugh! *bites nails*

Lol! Eh, there's a teaser for the third book for sure (oh and maybe another subtle hint at something from Adele's mom oops!) but hopefully it's not too cliffhangery :)Thanks for reading and I hope you don't hate it!
Hehe yay! I am pretty bad with cliffies in the Dwellers books, even the third one lol! But I really don't use cliffies in the Country books because they're not really fair to the reader in my opinion :)
Hi Kaylani! Thanks for asking about my books :)I've written 14. 11 are published and the other 3 will be soon:
My most popular series (YA dystopian):
My newest and highest rated series (YA dystopian):
My debut YA paranormal series:
My Children's series:
No pressure to read them but feel free to message me if you have any questions :) Thanks!

Wow! Thank you Heidi!! I'm so excited about where Country is going, the third book is done and ready for betas and editing :)

Bluemoon wrote: "i think I'll let David finish with the Dwellers series. Then I'll read Star Dwellers. How many books are you planning for the Dwellers series, David. If you don't mind me asking."Of course I don't mind ;)
Here's the master plan:
Three Dwellers books (already out):
Three Country Saga books:
(April 4th)Water & Storm Country(June 6th)A 4th and final Dwellers book that doubles as a 4th and final Country book. I will be highly recommending that you read all three books in each series before reading this book as it will bring the two series together with characters from both: The Earth Dwellers(September 6th)
Aww you are so kind :) I just did my final sale of signed books for the year as we're leaving the country for at least a year. I'm so sorry you missed it Kaylani but maybe one day I can sign them! Thanks for all the support, it means the world to me :)

Wow, David. I'm impressed with your schedule. Between taking care of the munchkin all day and working two part-time jobs, I'm struggling to get a book out a year, forget the 4+ you're doing. You are my author-hero!
I still need to finish The Book Thief and The Eternity Cure. Ahhhh! Hopefully I can get that done today.
I'm also reading for school:
I'm pretty close to the end. Unfortunately it's been pretty disappointing for me.

But honestly, people like you are my heroes as you are still writing despite how busy you are while my writing and schedule creates most of my own business :) You are the impressive one!
