No I mean which book were you referring to when you said "I stuck to it and it was good!"? :)

Brittany: I can imagine Grad school would be overwhelming as well! It is sad isn't it? Maybe we can read a few books over Christmas break!
Brigid: Yes, Monsters of Men was amazing! I would re-read the whole series now if I had time. Maybe I would better appreciate the first book.

it's not really YA, but it has a 12 year old. It is really good so far."
Finished this and loved it. Sorry everyone has been too busy to read :(

Anyway, I'm done reading Bayou Moon so I've moved on to this one:

:D Yay! I need to reread them too. Although I think the third was definitely the best. The first I loved, but when I was reading it I thought it was just sort of an "adventure" book, and then the story got a lot heavier … Maybe if I read it again I'll notice more of the hidden-depth stuff. I just got a ton of Barnes & Noble gift card money so I'm definitely going to buy the first two books so I'll have them all! :]

So, I finished The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake, which started to bore me towards the end so I skimmed through a lot of it. :/ Today I read As Easy as Falling Off the Face of the Earth, which was cute but also kind of boring.
Now I've started The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella but I'm only on page 10 or so, so I can't really pass judgment yet. At least this one focuses on vampires who actually eat people … XD

Still not done with Bree Tanner but I also started reading Thief Eyes and I'm about halfway through. Fun read so far. :)

I am reading

Also slowly plodding along in

Finshed reading
yesterday.
I plan on starting
soon … but I won't get it from the library until tomorrow. Today I should probably read some thing from the huge pile of used books I bought …

I plan on starting

That just adds more to my need-to-blog list and I checked out a butt-load of books from the library over the last week. I'm hoping to catch up by the end of the month... maybe.
Firelight has a gorgeous cover, so some needs to tell me if the story inside matches the cover.

CHACHIC!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU FOR ASKING ABOUT MY THOUGHTS ON CELIA. SO FAR I AM REALLY ENJOYING IT. COULD YOU PLEASE WHIP UP A FRUIT PIE FOR MY PEOTRY GROUP? IF YOU DON'T WANT TO THAT IS FINE. IF YOU DO, WHY DON'T YOU THINK ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE ROUND AND GET BACK TO ME.

Hahaha Jaclyn Moriarty is hilarious. Her only book that I haven't read yet is Ghosts of Ashbury High.
… I feel like I'm missing something.
Anywayyy so yeah. I'm in the middle of Halo right now, and it's kind of pissing me off so far. :-/ It's excessively long and plotless, just another teen paranormal fantasy where the girl is a Mary Sue and the boy is all flawless and heroic. And yes, I'm a little (REALLY) bitter because the girl who wrote it is my age, and I don't understand why her book can get published and mine can't. *grinds teeth together*

Brigid read Feeling Sorry for Celia - you will get the joke then. I finished it last night and loved it as much as Year of Secret Assignments :)

Okay :D Oh, I think I own Year of Secret Assignments. I know it's one of my sister's favorite books.

No, it's really not very good at all … I agree, the cover's really pretty. But the cover's probably the best part. :P nyuck nyuck. Why have there been no good teen authors since S.E. Hinton? Doesn't really help my reputation …

I have been warned about the confusing start, and they were right. I am about 2 hours into the 8 hours audiobook and am still waiting to "get it".

I finished The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets and I really liked it! I'm going to post a review tomorrow. Now reading this one:

I'm not really a rabid HG fan. I'll get to it soon, though. Just have to get through … two more fairly-short books, I think. :D

Oh and Bluemoon.... we might HAVE to do the book thing where you read Mockingjay and I read Knife of Never Letting Go. Good thing from my end is that if I get hooked at least all 3 books are already out!
