It is, but it's not very ... dense. I don't know, I thought it went by pretty fast. But it seems like the majority of people I know who tried reading it gave up on it. *Shrugs*

I didn't really like either of the protaganists and I think you could really tell the male protaganist was written by two women because he was really emo -- too much for me. I wanted to tell him to man up! It was also too wordy for me (a problem I tend to have with a lot of YA paranormal books and why it it not my genre).

I will admit it is my least favorite genre and I normally dislike paranormal romances - at least YA ones! I think the only paranormal YA series I loved was Hex Hall.

Finished Moon Spell (The Tale of Lunarmorte, #1) by Samantha Young last night and starting River Cast (The Tale of Lunarmorte, #2) by Samantha Young today. I've read several books by this indie author and really like her. Of course, there are things that editing could improve (as with almost all indies) but she writes good stories.

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments So I finished Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie and I thought that it was ... all right. Not fantastic by any means. And I'm interested in reading the sequel. I also read The Golden Lily (Bloodlines, #2) by Richelle Mead and OH MY LORD IT WAS SOOOO GOOOOOOODDDD! I love Sydney <3 I can't wait for Indigo Spell! :D
Now I'm reading A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin Well, starting it again. I liked it the first time, I just couldn't get through it. Hopefully I can this time. I love the tv show, so hopefully I can finish the book. I'm also reading Invaluable by Holly J. Wood and I sorta hate it. It's LDS fiction, and the author lives near me, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's not for me. Or anyone for that matter.

Yeah I love Meg but that is my least favorite book by her. Also, Meg is what I would consider a "light" read author if that makes sense -- not sure if you are considering a book with more substance (probably) so it will likely be completely different.

I finished Moon Spell (The Tale of Lunarmorte, #1) by Samantha Young and River Cast (The Tale of Lunarmorte, #2) by Samantha Young , both of which I really liked. Have to say that I'm becoming quite the fan of indie writer Samantha Young.

Started reading Prince of Wolves (The Grey Wolves, #1) by Quinn Loftis . So far it's a 2 star. Lots of grammatical errors and annoying best friends who have too many "funny lines". I'm almost halfway through and it's finally getting better but I'm not sure how it got 4 stars. And before anyone asks, I keep reading it because the guy is kind of dreamy. ;)
