OK I finally started Moon Dwellers last night and like it so far
and I am listening to the Oct. read on audio
Rot & Ruin and am highly enjoying it --- I recommend the audiobook for those who plan to read it and like audiobooks :)

I saw the movie and read the very beginning of the book. It was great so I got the book from the library.

I loved that book - the movie not so much. Probably a case of comparing the book to the movie since I read it first.

I've read Dust & Decay, which I also loved. I haven't read Flesh & Bone yet ... I think it just came out.
Hey just wanted to share that I contacted our October read Rot & Ruin author Jonathan Mayberry to tell him his book was our next read and he send the following message back
"How delightful!
I'm currently on the road for a national book tour in support of FLESH & BONE, the 3rd book (of 4) in the series. And we just sold the movie rights to the series.
If you have any questions, let me know.
-Jonathan"
How exciting for him about the movie rights :) Yay!

Ooh, that is awesome news! He's a cool guy ... A few months ago he participated in a #yalitchat on Twitter and said a lot of awesome things. Also one of my friends knows him from some sort of young writers group, which is how I heard about his books in the first place. :)
Very cool! I'm looking forward to our October read. That will make two monthly reads in a row for me!

I don't think I have ever read a Dean Koontz novel. I tend to shy away from a lot of best selling writers because it seems like most of the time what is popular is not my thing (especially Nicholas Sparks). How is he as an author??

I've never read one of his books either. I've been wanting to read one called... "The Husband" I think. And today one of my friends recommended another title of his. I'll have to try one out. :-)

Lol, that would be awesome!!

well.... I don't know, i'm still at the beggining butit's kinda slow...:/ anyways, i want to finish it before the movie comes out! and I haven't seen the trailer yet , i'll check it though after I read this one.

I have. In early high school, he was one of my favorite authors. I read the original Sword of Shannara trilogy and his Landover novels. I kind of burned out on fantasy though, and never got around to any of his other books. (Though I might one of these days)

haha no worries;)

Ahhh I didn't know there was a trailer already! I just went and watched it ... Hmm. Looks like it could be alright. (And they used a Florence + the Machine song in the trailer ... Squeeee.) Anyway, it's been a few years since I read the book but I remember liking it. It was really long, but I remember being pretty addicted to it. It was fun. XD

I'm still re-reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower so I can finish it before my book club meets on Sunday! Luckily it's short and very addicting. :D
