Kourtni - They definitely had their moments when I wanted to strangle them. I liked it but you might not. I think you need to read
but will know for sure after I finish it. I don't like reading gross things and this has been pretty tame, except when they fight the zombies but it's not too gross.

Yowza! An GOT is one of them?!

I listened to it on audio and it is quite epic. It took me like 8 CD's before I knew who the heck was who! I gave it 4 stars, which for me is pretty pretty good.

Well let me know what you think and I might give it a go Shannen!

True - I could have read it faster if I wasn't busy with school. :-) I accidentally read a spoiler from one of my GR friends' review, saying who "-A" was -_- but hopefully there will be other surprises to discover as the series goes on.
Mainly reading

COG is my favorite of the series so far, hope to hear your thoughts. Cy,your name reminds me of Unwind"
lol why? and do you say it l..."
I pronounce it sigh. In Unwindthere is a character named Cy, it's a rare name and a good book.
As for reading more after COG (TMI or ID)thats a must if you're a fan. :)
GOT is a time sucker. It is hard for me to start book two because it will take me 3 weeks to listen to the whole audiobook and I just can't get myself to do it yet.

I read that and thought it was ok. I would def. read book two to see what happens. I gave it 3 stars (which is good for me).

Yeah I just finished it and I rated it 3 stars..It wasn't as good as I had hoped, but hopefully the series gets better with the second one *fingers crossed*

I really enjoyed the Hollowland Series by Amanda Hocking..I thought it had a nice story line to it :D and it made want to read more post-apocalyptic type books

I liked A Great & Terrible Beauty but I was hoping it would be better than what I read. Hopefully the next book is more interesting. :-)
I still haven't read I am Number Four - I got sidetracked with other books. XD

How are you enjoying The Reckoning

last night and stayed up way too late reading it!"
I am hoping to hear from someone who did not love book one and still read Insurgent. If book two is better than book one was to them I may consider reading it.

That is why I want someone who didn't love it to give me an update. I think Peep is going to read it so I will see what she thinks (if she ever shows back up around here!)

She is not really posting here on GR at all but sometimes she pops up :)

I am happy to hear that, I can‘t wait to get to it. It’s near the top of my TBR list, along with many of the recent new releases vying for my attention.

Hope you like it Teralee. I read it and it was just OK for me. I am interested to see where the plot goes and just started the next one,

LOL! Bluemoon is right, that review was mostly for those who liked the first book. Sorry! :)

Did you like the audio of Hugo? I read the book and so much of it is pictures I can't imagine that it would convey the whole story in an audio book.
Kourtni - two people in our other YA group didn't like Divergent but liked Insurgent so I may have to give it a try (library book of course!)

Yes! You should give it a go Heidi. I finished it last night and it was pretty awesome. It blew some of the other stuff I've been reading lately out of the water.
It looks like I should try out Cinder! I'm a little hesitant just from reading the synopsis. I don't know if it would be something I could get into.
I plan to listen to Cinder on audio. I can let you know if you would like it if you want Kourtni.
