Seth - Happy reading!

Danielle - I haven't read the second book yet so I'm curious what you think.

Brigid - I've read the Mortal Instrument series and liked it but haven't read the Clockwork books yet. How do they compare?

I haven't read that one yet. Is it sad? I don't want spoilers or anything, but I am looking for a slightly fluffy read."

Umm ok, it does get to be a bit sad. Have you read Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. It's a fun read.

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments Weeee I finished Blood Promise (Vampire Academy, #4) by Richelle Mead today and started Spirit Bound (Vampire Academy, #5) by Richelle Mead :D Blood Promise was definitely my favorite so far . . . So good!

I'm not very far into Clockwork Prince yet, but I loved Clockwork Angel. They have a pretty different atmosphere, being set in the Victorian era. And the main character is a Downworlder instead of a Shadowhunter. But they still have the same dark quality, and of course all the creepy demons and whatnot––including evil demon robots. It's more steampunk than the companion series. But anyway ... they're super cool, in my opinion.

So, I've added another book to my currently-reading pile because I like to drive myself insane like that. So now I'm also reading Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, which is awesome so far. So hilarious. XD

Finished Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout which I liked and will read the next in the series. It's similar to VA which turned me off at first but I kept reading and got over it. I actually liked it enough that I'm now reading Obsidian (Lux, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout by the same author.

So far it is like a train wreck! It is about a guy and a girl who play head games with each other. That is basically the plot (I am 1/3rd into it).

message 2038: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) | 240 comments So I started rereading The Marbury Lens by Andrew Smith today o.o And omg I love this book so much. But it makes, like, zero sense. -dies- And I also need to reread In the Path of Falling Objects by Andrew Smith . . . Because Andrew Smith is pretty much my favorite author these days. So yeah. And I'm probably going to buy Stick by Andrew Smith and Ghost Medicine by Andrew Smith and read those too . . .

P.S. I love Seth's and Brigid's enthusiasm about books.

Just finished Obsidian (Lux, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout and read it in 24 hours. That book was like crack! Have to say that I am loving Jennifer L. Armentrout right now. She kind of reminds me of Simone Elkeles but PNR.

Started reading Accordance (Significance, #2) by Shelly Crane which is the second book in the Significance series.
