An author exchange is when two authors agree to buy each other's latest publication, review it and post the review to help the other author boost sales.
I just finished Divergent it's good, and i liked it. I'll probably read the next book then get a tattoo, or wear gray robes and stuff hahaha but for now I'll continue Before I Fall

Fun title :)

I'm curious as to what you think of that one. I pretty sure I have it on my TBR list.

I did NOT fly through MockingJay. It took me like six months a read because I only read 25 pages per day cuz I wanted to let my happiness last. Yeah. Hated that book.Shannen, what's your email?
Heidi. I kinda like Hate List. I think I cried when I read it. But it was just . . . depressing, you know?

Leaving Paradise kind of drove me crazy. There was a horrible grammar error in the dedication ... lol. I enjoyed the book somewhat although I wasn't sure I could believe the premise.

Either I am totally behind, or this group has become WAY more active. Maybe a combination of the two. lol. :P
Anyway, ummm. Well, the other day I finished The Tiger's Wife which was an alright book.
Now I should probably read the 6th Harry Potter book since I've put it off for about a month now. Ooops.

I'm currently reading
. I've read the second one, and liked it all right, but it was so confusing so I should probably read the first one!

Leaving Paradise was not AT ALL realistic. I work in the criminal justice field and it is noted several times in my review how this stuff just does not happen!

Ooh, I should read your review of it.
I know next to nothing about law, and even I could tell it wasn't accurate ... A lot of it just seemed like, "Wait, that's allowed to happen? He's allowed to just ... live next door to her and all?" O_o

Seth wrote: "I'm currently reading

It's a good series. I kept thinking of so many "what ifs?" when i'm reading it. (What if it happens here in our place?) haha thoughts like that. You'll enjoy it!
I just finished
( loved it! Great beach read) and I am going to start on the book of the month. But I've been wondering about
I haven't picked it up yet but after reading your comments I think I may add that to my list.
Rolenda- It's pretty addicting so far! It's a really interesting idea.Eight. That's a lot of times, Meagan :P
The only books I've read more than two times is probably the HP books, and I read the fifth one probably over twenty times!
I am currently reading The Sweet, Terrible, Glorious Year I Truly, Completely Lost It. I am enjoying it.
Bluemoon wrote: "Its not YA, but I just finished reading The Moving Finger: A Miss Marple Mystery. Marple mysteries are just so weird. I didn't get to see Marple until more than half way!"Its the same with Cat Among the Pigeons. Poirot is at the very end.
I'm reading a book written by a new friend of mine (and fellow indie author). I was a bit worried that I wasn't going to like it but I'm a few chapters in and I'm relieved to say that it really is a lovely story! Although I have spotted a couple of spelling errors (I can't help it... I seem to find them in almost everything I read... I guess it's the editor in me rearing its head again!), I would recommend it. It's Sometimes It Happens by Pauline Barclay.
Just finished
!! I really liked it. A lot better than the second one! But at the same time, I can see why some people hate it so much. It's much too long, all over the place, and confusing and the whole time all you can think is "Uh . . . why?" but at the same time it was a fun and enjoyable read! But now I'm reading
, and I'm confident that this will be AMAZING. I have complete faith in Neal Shusterman!
Just finished up
. This series gets better with each book. The last quarter of the book was pretty intense! I almost want to jump right into the next book, but need to take a little break.I SHOULD work on finishing up
, but I'm not sure if I'm in the mood for it right now. (Though I always love his books)Not sure what's next right now.
so i broke down and finally started reading Shiver and im not sure if i like it or not. my friends said it was amazing but im iffy about it.
Tori wrote: "so i broke down and finally started reading Shiver and im not sure if i like it or not. my friends said it was amazing but im iffy about it."From what I have gathered from watching people's reactions to this book - you either love it, or you don't.
Just started
. I've had it on my Kindle for a while now but kept putting it on the back burner.
Tori - I think Lloyd is right. Not a lot of people on the fence about it. I loved Shiver though.
Mods - It's June 1st and our monthly book read needs to be changed out. :)

Okay, all the glowing reviews and recent talk are making me want to start
. I grabbed it while it was on sale for $2.99 and now went and bought
and
figuring I'll want to read those too. (The curse/blessing of the Kindle one-click instant gratification purchasing.)
Tori wrote: "i just started it so im hoping that it will get better"
Shiver has little to no action. It is more of a romance so if you are not into those it might not be your thing.

nag nag nag!
Shiver was kind of a bore, but i still loved it. The writing was fantastic IMO, and it made up for the actionlessness.
Yeah, not a lot happens in Shiver (except toward the end) but I agree with Seth––I adore Maggie Stiefvater's writing. (Also, she's a really cool person. I kind of stalk her...) And I love her characters as well. :)
Heidi - Not trying to nag. Just excited to read the new book!
I love Maggie Stiefvater too. Is she writing anything new?

i like the characters. and the more i read it the more i like it i just wish something would happen because as of right now the plots a little flat. i guess im just used to books with more action.

Yes! She has a book called The Scorpio Races coming out ... I'm not quite sure what it's about but IT'S MAGGIE STIEFVATER. So I'm sure it'll be awesome. :)
