What are you currently reading?
btw I am about 50% done with Friday Never Leaving
and loving it. Those Aussie writers sure have my number I tell you.

Reading:

And Tuesdays With Morrie, And Marcelo in the Real World.
It didn't occur to me until last year I had never read old yeller. So I bought it for 50 cents and its been sitting on my shelf. Since sometimes getting back into reading (which puts me in a much better mood and helps so much with relaxing etc) means shorter books Old Yeller is great, should be a quick read.
I already feel a lot mor relaxed about life events. Its amazing how much reading takes away my anxiety and how much I stress about it sometimes.

I'm glad that reading is helping your anxiety. And I've never read Old Yeller either.

I enjoyed it, I could see where people wouldn't because it was a huge twist on a popular fairy tale.
Just finished Stargirl, finished Old Yeller.

I've read two other books of Haddix's and thought that they were OK. I wasn't glued to them but enjoyed them overall. I also liked the fact that they weren't extremely intense.

I have heard a lot of good things about some of the newer books though as well.
I started watching Warm Bodies the movie on HBO but haven't finished it. I wonder if the book is better?

I think I liked them both equally, Heidi, although I liked the ending to the book better :)

Then we'll see what I pick up next. :o
KAYLANI: good choice. Just recently read that book too. Worth it!
Re-reading...
I was starting to read Scarlet and as she talk about the event that happened in the royal ball, I realized I had no clue what she was talking about. I need to refresh my memory.

Adalice has the ability to weave time with matter and, honestly, a lot of it was above my head. Hahahaha... But it is good if you can just decide that you don't have to understand the science of it all.
Woot! So excited to see people's thoughts on Boy 21. It is such a different book. I think people will either get it or won't like it!

I think you might like it Heidi (how's that for wishy-washy..."think" and "might"). In all seriousness though, it's pretty clever and although there are cheesy bits, I enjoyed much of the dialogue :)

Now I'm reading

Hehe, I think most of it was perfectly in character and worked well. Overall, I thought it was genius, I hope you agree!
Yay! Good to know David. Excited to give it a try. I think I might get the whispersync deal so I can listen to the audio because I get to audio faster than I do kindle books.
Just finished reading...
I planned on reading Scarlet, but as I started listening to it I realized I have no clue what happened in the previous book. So I grabbed it up and re-read it. Good thing too since I actually like it better than when I listened to it previously. So I think I'll just read Scarlet as well.
