Becky I have not heard of either of the books you mentioned.
Jenny do you rec. Unraveling? I have looked at a few times in the past.

Just keeping you on your toes, Heidi. Actually, I noticed them at the library and thought that they looked interesting. They are both decent reads but didn't WOW me yet. I might be considered a bit picky, though.

Starting

I just bought the audio of Throne of Glass and plan to try it soon (I secretly got the cheap whispersync price for the audio because I got the kindle book through my libraries Overdrive system so it showed up as one of my Kindle books- shhhhhh don't tell anyone!)

Say what?? Why are you not able to get Overdrive Kindle books?? Boo! I will let you know about my thoughts for sure :)

I finished it last night ... I thought it was okay. I know a lot of people loved it, but ehhh I don't know. I felt like I had to force my way through a lot of it and I didn't like the characters very much. Plus there were some twists at the end that I thought were kind of ridiculous. Over all I'm trying to decide whether to give it a 3/5 stars or a 2.5 ... :P

I'm glad you're enjoying it! And I know, right? I spent the first 75% of the book or so just like, "... What." It comes together in the end, though. Sort of. XD

I loved More Than This, I couldn't put the book down! Gave it 5 stars!
The Infernal Devices series...it just gets better and better all the way through! The last book is so beautiful and poetic...you will LOVE it!!
Darcy I just think the way C. Clare writes is not for me (too wordy) so have skipped the ID series -- maybe you are the same as me about her writing style??

Steroid drops are starting to kick in.
Once I can focus again I need to kick my ass in gear. I WILL NOT LOSE TO MYSELF AGAIN. Minimum of 100 books per year.

Awww! You are always having such horrible things happen to you :( I am sorry it impacts your reading. I think I asked you this before, but do you listen to audiobooks?? I know a lot of people in my audiobook group started listening to them after health issues. Either way, take care!!

Sorry to hear about that. My mum who's 53 couldn't read or drive earlier this year as she had problems with her glaucoma so I know it's tough. Hope that your issue resolves quickly!

First I can watch netflix, etc. Second I can play video games and I played a LOT today!!!!
Soon I should be back to reading. I am excited because my goal was to beat at least 10 of the video games in my steam game library... today I got almost half way through one, and almost through the first (of tons) of portions of another! :) SO I don't feel like such a slug, even though I am pretty sure I have pneumonia now. Oh well. At least my eyes should be good by the time it gets bad enough I am mostly bed bound because then I will just read all the daysss. :)
But for the life of me I am having hte hardest time pickng something 'fun' to read. AHH.
I see one of my favorite audiobooks of all time is the Audible Deal of the Day today Will Grayson, Will Grayson
at $2.95 it is a steal! http://www.audible.com/pd/Teens/Will-...

That's great! You could read Cinder? That's a pretty fun read. The Book Thief is also really good.

half way through The Diviners. Pretty good book. I don't even feel the length of the book
Also listening to Chapters and Hearse. Pretty good series I would say.

I haven't decided what's next for me to read. I'm sure I'll think of something.

I bought that audiobook awhile back when it was on sale but haven't gotten to it yet.
