oh good. I'm glad it has positive feedbacks!

Karen’s Library | 574 comments Just finished These Broken Stars (Starbound, #1) by Amie Kaufman (great book!!) and currently listening/reading to Timebound (The Chronos Files, #1) by Rysa Walker . Also very good!!

message 6453: by Becky (new)

Becky (bek11) | 451 comments Finished Stoneheart (Stoneheart Trilogy, #1) by Charlie Fletcher . It was pretty good but I felt that the author left the reader in the dark for too long. Just started A Confusion of Princes by Garth Nix . This one is confusing just from the politics and trying to figure out how the Empire is set up. Still pretty interesting, though.

Just keeping you on your toes, Heidi. Actually, I noticed them at the library and thought that they looked interesting. They are both decent reads but didn't WOW me yet. I might be considered a bit picky, though.

Ashley (readerandwriter) I'm reading House of Hades and The Fiery Heart

So in the meantime reading Cinders & Sapphires (At Somerton, #1) by Leila Rasheed which I am really enjoying so far! Also going to start a reread of Unraveling (Unraveling, #1) by Elizabeth Norris for a buddy read!

Starting Incarnate (Newsoul, #1) by Jodi Meadows on Sunday for a buddy read. :)

Mackenzie | 55 comments I wanted to read The House of Hades (The Heroes of Olympus, #4) by Rick Riordan but I need to get my high fantasy fix. So, Falling Kingdoms (Falling Kingdoms, #1) by Morgan Rhodes it is! And...this may also be because I just bought the second book and need to recap :)

Almost done with:

Steelheart (Reckoners, #1) by Brandon Sanderson

Then I think I'll finally get back to reading:

A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2) by George R.R. Martin

And I also plan to start:

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas

I just bought the audio of Throne of Glass and plan to try it soon (I secretly got the cheap whispersync price for the audio because I got the kindle book through my libraries Overdrive system so it showed up as one of my Kindle books- shhhhhh don't tell anyone!)

message 6469: by Karen’s Library (new)

Karen’s Library | 574 comments I can't access my Overdrive books using my Kindle app so have to download the other versions. Let me know how it is on audio, Heidi. I started reading it a while ago but just wasn't in the mood at the time. I like books like this in audio better, it appears. If you recommend it, I'll buy the Kindle version and the whispersync audio since it's still a deal for both!

I finished it last night ... I thought it was okay. I know a lot of people loved it, but ehhh I don't know. I felt like I had to force my way through a lot of it and I didn't like the characters very much. Plus there were some twists at the end that I thought were kind of ridiculous. Over all I'm trying to decide whether to give it a 3/5 stars or a 2.5 ... :P

I'm glad you're enjoying it! And I know, right? I spent the first 75% of the book or so just like, "... What." It comes together in the end, though. Sort of. XD

The Infernal Devices series...it just gets better and better all the way through! The last book is so beautiful and poetic...you will LOVE it!!

Awww! You are always having such horrible things happen to you :( I am sorry it impacts your reading. I think I asked you this before, but do you listen to audiobooks?? I know a lot of people in my audiobook group started listening to them after health issues. Either way, take care!!

Sorry to hear about that. My mum who's 53 couldn't read or drive earlier this year as she had problems with her glaucoma so I know it's tough. Hope that your issue resolves quickly!

Kaylani (cityeclectics) | 277 comments My drops are helping!

First I can watch netflix, etc. Second I can play video games and I played a LOT today!!!!

Soon I should be back to reading. I am excited because my goal was to beat at least 10 of the video games in my steam game library... today I got almost half way through one, and almost through the first (of tons) of portions of another! :) SO I don't feel like such a slug, even though I am pretty sure I have pneumonia now. Oh well. At least my eyes should be good by the time it gets bad enough I am mostly bed bound because then I will just read all the daysss. :)

But for the life of me I am having hte hardest time pickng something 'fun' to read. AHH.
