So excited!"I haven't read this series - you must like it?"
Yes, I really do! A scary new concept for a dystopian!

I am about 3 hours into the audiobook and am loving it- what is going on will Will Henry!

So cool! I finally got a copy of And the Mountains Echoed--at my library book sale! Brand new hardcover for only $2!!! Woot!
I'm rereading
:) Couldn't help it, I really wanted to disappear back in that world after all this talk with Jennifer!

Ahh I know, right?! It's very different from the other books in the series but I'm also loving it. :)

I'm going between
and
both on audio right now, trying to refresh before reading
and
.I have to say I'm probably much more excited about Champion. I also picked up
but I may put that aside for
or
. Not sure.
I finished reading
and I really liked it, huge twist at the end! I have the sequel as an eARC, and I can't wait to read it!Also finished my reread of
and it was just as good, if not better, the second time!
Yay Jenny! I liked it too! Great ending IMO.
Jen please let me know your thoughts on The Probability of Miracles. It looks interesting to me every time I see it.

Just starting Pushing the Limits
and The Testing
- both on audio.
Finished Final Descent - that book was crazy!

Ahhh I still haven't finished The Final Descent. I should get on that. I've just had so much homework lately. >_<
I read an ARC of The Testing and wasn't a big fan of it, but maybe you'll like it more than I did, haha. And I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on Pushing the Limits ... I'm not sure whether I want to read that one or not.

Yeah I remembered you were not a fan of the Testing Brigid so I am going in not expecting too much. I will let you know my thoughts on both books.
I finished
and I LOVED it!! 5 star read, and a great ending to the trilogy!Almost done with
and I'm loving it as well. Also getting to start a reread of
Yeah I know you loved Pushing Limits Jenny - you are one of the people who talked me into checking it out. So far it is reminding me a little of
, which I was not a fan of, but it seems like it has more depth (that was one of my issues with PC - it lacked depth and was very stereotypical).
Anywho I am giving it a fair shake. The Testing seems like a rip off of several other dystopian novels so far but I am only just starting.
Jenny I hope you enjoy your re-read of Runaway King. I skipped Legend for some reason (someone told me it was not for me I am pretty sure). How is the Darkest Minds series?

I'm a bit less than halfway through
. Honestly? It's a bit slow at this point. Maybe it's because I'm chomping to get through it so I can read
. Heidi I'll let you know about
. I may try and get to that this week.

Great! Thanks.

I'm reading Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor. Love it so far. Was worried that it wouldn't be as good as the first. So glad I was wrong. Practically bouncing up and down on the edge of my seat.
Jen wrote: "I'm a bit less than halfway through

Maybe it's because I'm chomping to get through it so I can read [bookcover:Champion|1..."I thought it read pretty fast, but then again, I wasn't waiting to read Champion!! Champion is 20 times better than Allegiant! I'm so happy one of my favorite trilogies ended so well!
I'm rereading
and then
before starting
I want to be sure I know every little tidbit before Champion. My brain seems to spit out details of books after I've read them lately. I can remember some but not everything. (Old age..) Hahahh.. Or maybe I'm just so overworked I can only keep a certain amount of things in my brain before other things fall out. (Didn't that happen to Christina Applegate's character on Married with Children.)
All this talk of Champion ... I want to read it so badly. But Karen, I seem to be having similar problems as you. I can't remember ANYTHING that happens in Prodigy. Besides the fact I thought it was strange, and really really good.
Thank goodness I enjoy rereads almost as much as reading them the first time! I had to do this with
and
too.
I love rereads as well, but I had no problem remember the events in Divergent and Insurgent, as well as Legend and Prodigy. Legend and Prodigy especially stuck in my head and now Champion will too!
I defiantly wish I would have re-read Froi of the Exiles and Finnikin of the Rockbefore I went further in that series- I was so lost!
I just finished up Fyre and am a little sad to say good-bye to that series. I'm excited to see that she is doing a spinoff series, though. I also read Reap. I started Cinder and am trying to shift into sci-fi mode. I haven't read anything with robots and stuff in awhile.

I have to inter-library loan it. Maybe I'll borrow Finnikin again and put in my loan request for both Froi and Quintana.

I felt the same way about Fyre and the spin off series! Love the Septimus Heap series!
YAY!!! I'm so excited for you to read this, you will LOVE it!! Karen, too, when she gets to it lol! Keep us all updated with your thoughts, can't wait to hear them!
I'm so behind! I just finished Legend though and starting Prodigy now. I had to work most of the weekend. And thought I'd try to take today off. Yea right. Worked until 10:30 tonight. :( But... I'm going to stay up late and download my free copy of
on my Kindle app as soon as it hits Amazon. Hope I can stay awake! ;-P
Jenny I plan to listen to The Coldest Girl on audiobook soon. I am putting Just One Year on hold based on some of my friends reviews. I am interested in your thoughts.
I picked both up from the library. I've heard some less than stellar things about Just One Year, but I really want to read it, so I'm going to try it!
Heidi *Listen. I'll just keep talking anyway. * wrote: "Forgot to post that Davids book is free today! http://www.amazon.com/Fire-Country-Sa... [bookcover:Fire Cou..."Aww thank youuu! It's free for one more day! 25,000 downloads so far, I'm freaking out!!!!
