For a YA author, she isn't that bad. She could be better, she could be worse. But all in all I think she is okay. Her story lines are based upon real life in the celeb word that is, and unlike Hilary Duff who writes about silly garbly gook, I would rather read Lauren's books any day :-)

Ok thanks! I am not into reality tv or that world so I will probably skip them for now but I have always wondered about them when I see them so I am glad to get a real reader update :)

Jen (jenwesner) I picked up Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (Miss Peregrine, #1) by Ransom Riggs last night.

Becky (bek11) | 451 comments I need to really finish the last 2 discs of Inkheart. I am also reading Surviving the Applewhites (Applewhites Family, #1) by Stephanie S. Tolan . I'm going to convince my 8-yr-old son to dress up like Jake for Storybook Day in school. I don't think I'll have to work too hard and it'll be super easy & cheap to do.

It is a full cast audio Jen - I loved it. It does take some getting used to all the voices. I think the Katsa voice for sure is British. Let me know how you like it :)

Ahh I'm reading like a billion things. Oops. (And by a billion I mean three, but ... yeah. Haha.)

So I'm working on our monthly read:

Fablehaven (Fablehaven, #1) by Brandon Mull

I'm like a third of the way through and so far I agree with Heidi ... it's more middle grade than YA so it's not really my thing. It's just okay for me so far.

I'm also reading:

The Once and Future King (The Once and Future King, #1-4) by T.H. White

It's four books in one and I've already made it through The Sword in the Stone. So, just three more books to go. :P

I also started:

A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, #2) by George R.R. Martin

I'd like to reread this one too! I'm loving the
