BOOKS TO DISCUSS
>
What are you currently reading?
Heidi and Harold, I'm going to back out of writing the Bio for Code Name Verity, only because I'm finding that searching for information on the character gives you the breakdown of the book and I'm getting quite a few spoilers. I really want to read that book and I don't want to know what's going to happen before I do. I feel like a butthead having said I would do it but I also don't want to ruin the read of it for myself.
I did complete the other four though.
I can try doing Aly from Trickster's Choice but I haven't read that series yet. I don't mind seeing spoilers but I may not do the character justice.

I can do Verity - I read it already :)

Thanks for completing the four protagonists Wendy! You rock! Sorry you read some spoilers :( Don't worry at all about it - I feel bad you read spoilers...

LOL, thanks! Mostly I don't care, and I didn't even think about it when I thought I could just throw them together. But I did Charlie's (Pers of being a Wallflower) from Wiki and now I pretty much know the whole story. It's really my own fault, because I should have realized before I went in there what would happen, but you're hunting up character tidbits and it just happens.
I just got Mind Games and What's Left of Me which appear to be similar slim nanotechnology dystopia so I'm excited to read them both!Plus, I took City of Bones down from my bookshelf so I could re-read it before I watch the movie that's coming out later this month!

Mwahahaha!! Thank you SO MUCH, I'm completely in shock about it. I mean, I've been rejected a zillion times and now, when I wasn't even actively looking....I get approached by one! Crazy town!!!
Hope you enjoy FC and Jenny enjoys TSuD and Karen enjoys her shiny ARC of The Earth Dwellers!!

Guess it is good that I just started Fire Country then so I won't have to wait so long for book 4 :)

Wow, quite a selection! Loved A Monster Calls, and you know I'm just a wee partial to anything David Estes! I enjoyed the Angel Evolution series!

Loved Monster Calls - if you can find it on audio try that after you read it. Also love the Fever series (great on audiobook too)

Really loving
and
so far!I'm waiting to have a nice long block of time to start
. I want to savor every minute with no interruptions! I see an all nighter coming my way tonight. ;-) I'm trepidus about starting it because I know it's the last book of both series and don't want to say goodbye to my beloved characters. I'll probably begin from the beginning and reread them all one after the other now that I have them ALL because I know I'll be having withdrawals!
Got fablehaven today... had a family crisis (more than crisis... it.. i can't talk about it because so many people dont know yet and asldkfja;ldfkj) so I will probably be reading more to try and cope instead of doing mindless things on the internet re: netflix.. because i can't shut off the brain as well unless i'm reading. Need to shut off my brain for a while. Books are good. Books are great. I need to eats some (re:read)
Sorry Kaylani :(
Hey we need to set up more future buddy reads (I know Kaylani had a ton of books she listed) so please head over to that folder if you want to do a future buddy read!

I'm sorry Kaylani. :( *Hugs* Also as Heidi said, I saw your post in the buddy reads thread and I just responded. (I offered to read Ender's Game with you because I haven't read it yet, haha.)
Right now I'm reading an ARC of:
It's amazing so far! I might even love it more than the first book ... it's just really intense and awesome. :)
Today I'll also probably be starting:
I bought it at the library the other day for $2––yaaay! (Our library has this used book shelf that you can buy books from, and they're all like 50¢-$2, which is awesome.)

I am trying to figure out what books to pack to go to my parents.
for sureBooks on the list to think about:
Kaylani a few people indicated they would do a buddy read with you - perhaps that would help you decide??
I have ebook copy on my computer of Uglies and Ender's game.. so I don't have to worry about that. Code Name Verity and Shiver would be the ones I'd have to worry about taking with. I would most likely be back sometime during this next weekend though, so if they dont want to start within the next 5-6 days then it wouldn't be worth taking. And I have a most likely 2 hour wait for an appointment after my tests are done today... and I could probably finish perks and start fablehaven in two hours if i spent the whole time reading. I read super fast, but with the ebook factor I don't want to bring too many paper copies with... but I also don't want to be stuck to just ebooks by only bringing a few. And if I get put in the hospital than I am really going to want more paper copies.
I'm not bringing a lot of clothing, so that will cut down on the bulk...
Kaylani I posted some start date thoughts in the upcoming thread - it is strange two of the three books people want to buddy read with you are print books!
I am currently reading Starstruck by Lauren Conrad.
I have read the other books in the Fame Game series, and her other series as well, and for YA novels thought they were okay.
Once I start a series I have a itch to finish them :-)
Heidi *Listen. I'll just keep talking anyway. * wrote: "Ooooo Dream Thieves! Let me know your thoughts"
I finished it this morning! (Another cliffhanger ending, uggggh.) But anyway ... aahhh I really loved it. I think you will enjoy it. :)

Well now that I am aware that it is a series I think that will help Brgid (if you remember I thought the first one was a stand alone book and was irked when there was no resolution!) I hate cliff hangers - if I am patient enough maybe I can wait for book three and read them back to back but then I will forget book one! hahahaha

How is Lauren as an author? I am weary to give her a try based on her reason for stardom but that doesn't mean she is a bad author - it could just be a prejudice I have.

I've been meaning to read the first one but think I will wait until they are all released. I hate waiting for sequels, especially when the previous book ends in a cliffhanger.
