Kathy, I believe you can only use Whispersync Voice properly on a Kindle device. I haven't tried to sync it using my smartphone or iPad. Honestly, since I got my Kindle Fire HD in November all of my other electronic toys have been pretty neglected. lol ;-)

I'm reading A Trick of the Light It has a high rating here but the writing is juvenile and the plot overdone.
Konnie wrote: "I'm reading "The Ocean at the End of the Lane" by Neil Gaiman. I have been hooked since page one. I'm sure I'll be done with it by the end of this lazy summer break day. ;-)" I read this on didn't enjoy. Gaiman is hit or miss with me. I enjoyed Coraline but this one was a little to different.
I'm reading Whodunnit? Murder in Mystery Manor, by Anthony E. Zuiker. I just stared it today. So, I'm 31% into it.
I just finished CJ Lyons Shadow Ops trilogy, of which all 3 were very well written and great reads. Now I'm reading Hadena James Dysfunctional series! I've also enjoyed these so far. So far, good writing with a touch of humor! I'm just getting started, but Nadine is great! Can't wait to read all 3!
Can anyone tell me if I can listen to audio on the kindle app? My kindle does not have that function, but my iPod and tablet have speaker but I can't figure it out. It's not listed under the font function. I listen in the car and work but I have to listen to a different book then the one I am currently reading on my kindle, do I always have 2 books going at a time. I tried to ask Amazon help, but didn't get answer. I can sync to read but can't figure out audio. Any help would be great
Nope, no audio from kindle apps. Think there might a work around app that can read the from the kindle app, but the kindle app itself has no audio function.
Benjamin wrote: "Nope, no audio from kindle apps. Think there might a work around app that can read the from the kindle app, but the kindle app itself has no audio function."I was afraid of that. Sounds like the solution would be another Kindle with sound. Guess need to ck out Amazons used. Drat! Thanks for the answer, Benjamin!
Midnight Club by James Patterson. Then on to And the mountains echoed by Khaled Hosseini.
Currently reading Rabbi Gabrielle's Scandal and Rain on Your Wedding Day. I hope to read The Last Bride in Ballymuir, Mail Order Millie, and Sheltering Hearts next along with several other boosk I don't have.
I'm on a Science Fiction and Fantasy binge at the moment. I am really enjoying some of the new books and authors that are out there! Not to mention the fact that a bunch of classic Andre Norton books were just released for Kindle... My paper back copies of her works are so old they are falling apart.I'm reading through these: http://bargainbooksy.com/blog/2013/8/...
and about to start these: http://bargainbooksy.com/blog/2013/9/...
I've read some of Hugh Howey's Wool Series and just finished Robopocalypse and loved both :)
I'm just reading Dust by Hugh Howey, which is the last of his Silo series. Within the last few weeks I have read all his Silo books (Wool omnibus and Shift omnibus) and very much enjoyed them.
I'm reading a strange little story, iFrankenstein,
. I was looking for a horror story, hmmm, not really that.
I've had a 5hr bath and finished Vigilante - Kerry Wilkinson. Had some spelling/grammar mistakes, but all in all a very good thriller. I kinda guessed near the end who was doing it and will be carrying on reading the rest of the series. Now I think I will go back to reading Halfhead - Stuart MacBride.
Rereading Hugh Howey's Wool Series so I can finish it off with Dust. On #7 right now -called Second Shift. Love these books!
Patricia Cornwell - Scarpetta.
I've finally given up on Halfhead - Stuart MacBride"I am sorry to say that I have given this as much energy and time as I can, but I still can't get into the storyline. I have no idea the characters are like the way they are. Not sure where the story is going with a prolific serial killer not doing much as it is and why the police officer is just sat in a pub moaning.
Oh well, I do love Stuart MacBride's books. But I really couldn't get my head and teeth into this Sci-fi style book".
I have just started reading
- Marina Anderson. Based on the authors who wrote 50 Shades and Bared To You books. I am reviewing these for Netgalley.
I've finished book 1 Desire in The Dining Club series and now on to book 2 Bound by Marina Anderson.
Morning all, now on to Book 3 Crave - Marina Anderson. I understand they are not everyone's cup of tea, but these are really good mini series kinda books lol. Shame I only have 5 to review, but will definitely be thinking about the other 3 to finish the series lol.
I've now finished Seduce - Marina Anderson and Touch - Marina Anderson. Not sure what I will read next, but will decide in morning.
I am reading Doctor Sleep. Holy crap, it is the scariest book I have read in decades. I can't wait to see what comes next, but man, I don't want to see what comes next!
Finished Wait for You, Love is Darkness, Branded and Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble. Starting Whiskey Rebellion
Last night I finished Surrender - Marina Anderson. Now I am going to read A country Halloween - Robert Larrison.
Last night I read and finished A country Halloween - Robert Larrison. Now I am reading A Child is Torn “Innocence Lost” - Dawn Kopman Whidden.
