Reading Stellar Wind by Catherine Barber. A very different yet intriguing read thus far.

just reading 'the uke of wallington' by Mark Wallington a fun read about towns, cities, open mics and a ukulele player....
I'm reading Green Eyes and Satiny Ties by Suzi Jay. I'm acquainted with the author, it's not my usual sort of thing at all, but if you're into lesbian romance it's jolly well written.
Rymellan 3 The Triad
Sarah Ettritch brings up life and love on another planet where the rules are followed or be put to death. How do you work out love for another when the government chooses two people for you not just one?
I'm currently reading The Devil Colony, and after this I'm going to read Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs.
I'm about half way through the 3rd book in the Tom Robb Smith trilogy about Stalinist Russia through the '70s: "Agent 6" which is very engaging, graphic (VERY) and full of pathos. Next read is back to reality with "The Presidents Club" by Nancy Gibbs and Michael Duffy.
I just found "reprints" of the old Dark Shadows comic books. Too cool. Entirely too cool. Okay, they're awful comic books, but it's totally taking me back to my childhood.

Free Will, which argues that there is no such thing. It's pissing me off, but fortunately it's short. Also, Double Share, fourth in the Solar Clipper space trader series by Nathan Lowell. I really enjoyed the first three and so far this one looks to be just as good.

It pisses me off because I believe he's wrong, but I'm not smart enough or knowledgeable enough to construct a good argument against him or to clearly identify where he goes wrong. I just "feel it", which is very unscientific.
I've finished reading Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell last night and I absolutely loved it! Today I've started A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard.
This morning I finished The Seventh Sister - Z.L. Arkadie. Now I am going back to The Man From U.N.D.E.A.D. - The Curious Case Of The Kidnapped Chemist - [author:Darren Humphries|4381074.
Having just finished The Man From U.N.D.E.A.D. - The Curious Case Of The Kidnapped Chemist, now I am off to read Stone Rain (tree book) as it needs to be sent to a friend.
I am currently reading Memoirs Aren't Fairytales: A Story of Addiction on Kindle for PC (as my k3 got stolen *sadness*)
I'm reading Dragon Stones. Someone on GR recommended it last May, as it was 68p I bought it. It's turned out to be really good, I can't put it down.
Crocodile on the Sandbank - Elizabeth PetersNot sure how I found this, might have been mentioned somewhere on goodreads, or maybe the amazon recommender got me to look at it, but I like mysteries and Egyptology, so it seemed like a good fit for me.
Blood Storm by Deb Sanders. Description was good; opening chapters were good. Now it's bogging down in romance, losing both the thriller aspect and credibility. Not sure I'll finish.
Martha wrote: "I am currently reading Memoirs Aren't Fairytales: A Story of Addiction on Kindle for PC (as my k3 got stolen *sadness*)"Be sure to let amazon know that it was stolen. Sometimes they can identify the new 'owner'. At least they can prevent them from downloading new books.

I have read the first three in the Amelia Peabody series and like them. She is quite a character!
I am reading
Blood Red Road and still working on
The Help and
A Feast for Crows.I'm coming up on some vacation days and I think I'll read most of the time off. :) Very excited.
Just finished The Seduction of Eva Volk--outstanding. Also just finished Bastard out of Carolina--very good. Started 50 Shades of Grey, which I can't seem to get past the first chapter because the writing is so so awful. So on to A Custom of the Army.
The Art of Racing in the Rain - Garth SteinFor a book club for another good reads group.
I would not have read this on my own.
Reading Blind Instinct which is a really good mystery but the poor editing of typos is making me crazy! Also reading The First Excellence which is another good mystery but without the typos. ;-)
I finished Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris this afternoon and now I'm reading White Oleander by Janet Fitch.
I quite enjoyed Blood Red Road, although hated the 'could of' 'should of' spellings, The others didn't bother me but those I correct all day at work. I heard Deadlocked wasn't as good, what did you think?
Finished Footprints on the Beach - Aleksandar Žiljak, was a nice relaxing story of love from 2 different time zones. Now I am going to read Abide with Me - Ian Ayris.
I've just started reading Before I Go to Sleep by S.J.Watson . It's a psychologial mystery /thriller about a woman who has amnesia . A few people I know have read it and recommended it so when I saw it deeply discounted on Amazon recently I snatched it up . I thought it would be a nice quick summer read . I'm not too far into it so I can't give it a rating , but it does seem to be a page turner .
Believe Currently reading this for an Author Read and Review.
Reading it on Kindle for PC since my Kindle got stolen about a week ago.
