Was asking Alexandra, message 1138, she said she was reading it. I've actually started it and am enjoying it. Eden
Just started The Price of Civilization: Reawakening American Virtue and Prosperity. I haven't read much economics, but given the state of the U.S. and world economies, I think I need to learn more and stop relying on politicians.
I just finished The Hunger Games book 1. I'm reading number 2 (Catching Fire) now. When I finish - probably in the next day or so - I'll read the final installment, then start on Don Quixote.
Currently reading on my kindle:I will not die an unlived life
I am the messsenger
Eat and beat Diabetes
Blood on the Tracks by Cecelia Holland, a concise (Kindle Single) history of the relatively unknown Great Railroad Strike of 1877 in the US. It's gritty and relevant. I like the size of Kindle Singles -- longer than an article but shorter than a book. Works well as an ebook.
Reading e-arc 0f "Bloodstone-Bk 2 of The Stacy Justice series" by Barbra AnninoRecently read "Without Mercy" and "Cherished" by Belinda Boring, her novellas in the Mystic Wolves series
I'm reading
and it's STEAMY! I haven't read a real romance in forever. I had forgotten how many "rippling abs" there are.... haha

I am in the process of reading Karen Moning's Fever series. I've read the first 3 books and waiting for the 4th to become available from the library. The Fever series is very different from my usual type of reading material (historical romance), but I am enjoying it. If you pick it up, don't let the first few pages of book 1 scare you off. I almost gave up on it; but a few pages later, I really started getting into it.

I just saw that there are two more Fever books planned and she's also doing a whole spin-off series with some of the more minor characters from the Fever books. I'm so excited!

What do you think about it thus far?

Well written, cogent, not too dense. The only thing is he often says something like "...economic theory has shown that ..." But I didn't think economic theory was entirely settled and I was hoping he'd explain it. He does explain his take on it well, I'm just not sure I'm getting other viewpoints. I guess I'll have to read some other economists, too. I have several on my TBR list.

I'm now reading through Sugar & Spice by Saffina desforges. It's pretty good, if not a bit of a departure from my normal reading.
I read the Hunger Games Trilogy over Christmas last year, I spent 3 days in bed reading, it was bliss.
I just read the Hunger Games trilogy recently too -- LOVED it!! They're so entertaining. Especially the first one.
Finishing up one of my M.J.Rose books so I can order her new one. Sounds very cool so far everyone of her has been a hit for me. In Session: Dr. Morgan Snow with Steve Berry's Cotton Malone, Lee Child's Jack Reacher & Barry Eisler's John RainI just pre-ordered myCome Back to Me SO I need to get reading as my to read list is swelling. I feel so behind when it have a huge list of "I really want to read" books on my list of books I own.

Reading and nearly finished with My Sister's Voice. Seemed like a straight forward novel but now it's getting a bit creepy. Liking that!

I couldn't stop myself, I'd think I'll just read a couple of chapters and the whole day would vanish.
Karen M wrote: "Reading Mudbound on loan from the library."Karen, let me know how you like it, please. I downloaded this one to my Kindle back when it was a freebie, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. Thanks!!

I downloaded it when it was a freebie also. I've read it and it was a pretty good read. It warrants at least 3 stars.

Enjoying it very much. I like the different POVs for each chapter. This doesn't always work but it does work in this book.
I've been reading the Denial of Death by Earnest Becker, Burn Baby Burn by Jake Barton. I have Hollow Land by Amanda Hocking and Glass House by Patrick Reinken waiting to be read.

I thought Hillary Jordan's Mudbound was fantastic. How does checking out a library book on your Kindle work?
I am currently reading Game 7: Dead Ball. It's a good book to read during the World Series, but this is a book non-baseball fans of mystery/suspense would enjoy.
I'm reading The Running Man - Stephen King. It is the first book that I borrowed from the library for my Kindle!
I am reading The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. I generally don't like ya books, but this one is quite good.
