Currently reading "Sippy Cups are not for Chardonnay". Just finished "Bite Me" by Parker Blue, which was free. Next up is hopefully going to me "Dead in the Family" by Charlaine Harris, but Amazon hasn't said it's going to be released on Kindle yet. If not that one then either The Host by Stephenie Meyer or I may start the House of Night series
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is what I'm reading now. Fascinating and holds my interest on multiple levels. I love my Kindle!
Currently reading Monday Night Jihad...a Kindle freebie. Relatively entertaining so far but a amatuerish writing style.

I'm currently reading Déjà Dead. I've had it..."
How did you like Déjà Dead? I read it via audio book, after reading her other works and I was not too impressed. I definitely enjoyed Deadly Décisions the best so far :)
I'm in the middle of both

. I'm thoroughly enjoying the latter and will suffer through MM.~~Dee
I am a new Stephen King fan and I am actually reading The Talisman. All his books are around only $6 for the Kindle. I plan to read them all...eventually.
Elena wrote: "I am a new Steven King fan and I am actually reading The Talisman. All his books are around only $6 for the Kindle. I'm thinking about "jumping ahead" of my reading with the Black house so I can participate. Hmmm, $6, eh?
Just finished Unwind which I really liked. A couple parts of the book haunt me.
I'm now reading The Secret Hour by Scott Westerfeld.

Margaret wrote: "I've just started The Grapes Of Wrath. Amazingly, I've never read it."I think this is a good thing about the kindle: I have read some classics that I always wanted to read.
Public Domain freebies are a great thing!
I'm reading my first book on my Kindle: How to Paint a Dead Man by Sarah Hall.So far I'm enjoying both the book and the Kindle - only problem is I just want to buy more books on it ...!
I have just finished Flight of the Southern Cross, a well-researched novel about air power and the Civil War. It is also an adventure that moves up and down the Mississippi and in and out of New Orleans.
I have actually put my Kindle down for now to read some real books I got an excellent deal on. However, I was in the middle of reading Delay, Deny, and Defend by Jay Fineman. I was not really enjoying the book, so I think I just needed a break from it. I am also reading The Historian by Kosova
Just finished The Tourist, which was well-written but a little slow moving, with much of the story being told and not experienced. Now I'm on to City of Dragons, a crime noir thriller set in 1940 San Francisco with a female private dick. It's right down my alley. Steve
Milrose Munce and the Den of Professional Help - Douglas Anthony CooperThe Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest - Stieg Larsson
Well I finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo last week and after buying the sequel I decided to read something else for a bit of variety. I decided on The Lightning Thief as it seems alot shorter and an easier read after what was quite a heavy book
I started Awkward Situations for Men at the weekend and I am already half way through it. It's simply a collection of short, but generally funny stories that have been collected over a year. Set out in nice sections which makes it very easy to pick up and read. Most story's can be read in about 5 minutes but there are quite alot of them. Big fan of the author, Danny Wallace and this book is a good addition to the collection
I just finished reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Im excited to write my first book review on this site, but it will have to wait until tomorrow. After spending a few hours reading on my kindle, I need time to let it soak in - and let my tears dry up. Tomorrow I plan to start on a Murakami book.
BTW, hello! I'm new here. :)

I'm a Goodreads' author - and my epic adventure, TEETH, set in the South Pacific, has been selling well on amazon. However, I've been amazed by the number of sales on Kindle! They're outpacing print by a wide margin...and I would love for you to check it out if you get the chance. This is a recent review by someone totally unknown to me who picked it up for their Kindle: what an awesome new world it is in many ways!http://www.amazon.com/gp/cdp/member-r...
I'm reading Rottweiler Rescue: a mystery for dog lovers on my Kindle. It's a great cozy mystery. I really hope to see more and more from this author. [image error]

The Secret Speech - Tom Rob SmithIt's the sequel to Child 44. More adventure than mystery, but it's good.
I'm still reading Stieg Larsson's "Girl Who Played with Fire" but I just downloaded "Searching for Tamsen Donner (American Lives) - Hardcover (Mar. 1, 2009) by Gabrielle Burton" after hearing an absolutely glowing review of that memoir. Tamsen Donner was the wife of the George Donner of the famous Donner Party. While Ms. Burton has written a historical fiction novel about the Donner party, "Searching" is about Ms. Burton personal journey. I can't wait to start it.
Atomic Lobster - Tim DorseyThere's a lot going on in this book. Bizarre, but it's keeping me moving forward.
