Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments BECAUSE NOBODY LISTENS TO MY RECOMMENDATIONS. NOOOOO, THAT'D JUST BE SILLY!

I'll read it. But I won't enjoy it.

★ Jess | 4295 comments Mod
lol.
What *did* you recommend, Baxter?

message 4: by Baxter (new)

Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments Last I checked, I was recommending One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I mean, I could be wrong about that, but I'm pretty sure that was it.

message 5: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 4295 comments Mod
Oh, right. That does ring a bell.
Well the two options were recommendations that lots of people backed up.
But im sure 100 years of solitude is a great book.
And speaking of which, MAXIMUM RIDE had very good reviews

message 6: by Baxter (new)

Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments I bet not as many as One Hundred Years. And I do believe I had at least another person backing me up.

YOU WON'T HEAR THE END OF ME AND MY BOOK. IT'LL BE BACK NEXT TIME, AND IT WILL WIN!

message 10: by Baxter (new)

Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments True enough. I have no knowledge of these young adult things you people are all reading these days.

message 11: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I have actually heard of 100 Years of Solitude, but I don't exactly recall what it was about. Hmmmm....

I'm all right with Angel Experiment winning, because I have already read it and I am currently reading other things.

message 12: by Baxter (new)

Baxter (julietrocksmysocks) | 383 comments Eh, I'm not that upset. I'll still read this.

message 14: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I added EVERLOST to my to-read list.... Which means I'll probably read it at some point or other.

Taylor wrote: "From what I've heard, it's not. :/"

What have you heard? ={

message 22: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments That the ending is terrible, and stupid. And I also was told the ending (and therefore agree), but I will not say. Don't want to spoil it for people who actually want to read it.

message 23: by [deleted user] (new)

are you talking about Fang or the book thats supposed to come after it?

message 24: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I'm talking about FANG.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

message 29: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taylorjaylene) | 4557 comments I may have said it before on this topic, but even so: I shunned the books after how TERRIBLE Final Warning was.

Cissi "Invisible but Invincible" (cissiinvisiblebutinvincible) i hate dylan, and i haven't even read Fang yet! i know about it, i do, not that i am happy about it!!! i am still on Max, but i will finish soon-or just eventually. Maybe "maximum ride" isn't written the best, but it isn't bad, and i like it. it's different.

message 45: by Rose (new)

Rose (rose_b) | 330 comments I'm reading Max right now. I really like this series.

message 46: by Cissi "Invisible but Invincible" (last edited Oct 10, 2010 07:31PM) (new)

Cissi "Invisible but Invincible" (cissiinvisiblebutinvincible) i like it, too. Like I said, it's something new and different. It interests me deeply.

Cissi "Invisible but Invincible" (cissiinvisiblebutinvincible) Whatcha up to lately? I haven't seen you in forever!!
