I want to name my first son Jensen.. I got that name from the actor who plays Dean on Supernatural. But I see names all the time that I love!Although some are just weird lol.
I quite like the name Jace as well, although it makes me think of Rachel Vincent's Shifters series. I'm also quite taken with Qhuinn from BDB (really one of the few names in the series that you could get away with in the real world).I can't let my husband know that my name ideas come from books though because he's already said that he doesn't plan to name our children after any character out of any vampire porn book. LOL
AAH but the vamp books have the best names. I love the name Damon even if he is deliciously evil. Hubby might have gone for it as a kid name though if he hadn't gotten 'fixed' lol.

A friend of mine is having a baby and she was telling me Sookie is one of the most popular girl names in 2010. I thought that was a little much.

I love the name Balthazar.

I wanted to do that, but my last name is Benson (plus I didn't have a boy...) Jensen Benson would have been cruel.
So, the next dog we have might be Jensen...lol

Girls names 2010. 1. Rachel 2. Sookie 3. Bella
Boys names 2010. 1. Michael 2. Phury 3. Zadist......
You never know, it could happen.
PS. Michael is always the number one boys name. Like, for the last 15 years or so.
Just a little triva for ya, now you can't say you didn't learn something on Goodreads today.
YOUR WELCOME

If you are going to name a child, may I suggest, that you use the easiest spelling and the most common form of the name. I named my son, Brennen. The poor kid. His teachers, friends, parents, (well, maybe not parents) get his name wrong. Its alway, Brandon, Brendan, Braeden.
Please, learn from my mistake. Poor little, Brendan. I mean, Brennen.

And I think I may possible fall under this trend when I have my first child.
After reading the Mortal Instruments series, I really really love the name Jace. Its not even so much because of the character himself. Even though I thought Jace was an awesome character. If I would have heard the name anywhere else I think I would still love it. I even like the nickname Clary for Clarissa.
