Image size

What is the max image size that a front cover can be in a listing? I could not find the size reqs anywhere in the documentation on uploading a title to GoodReads. The system is kicking the image I'm trying to upload for size.

Stephanie, is the image one that you've scanned yourself?

If so, just drop the resolution down a notch and try to upload again. I sometimes have that problem, and this seems to fix it.

This is a front cover from a publisher. If image size requirements are not on GoodReads' manual input form, they need to be. Otherwise, we're all just guessing what size the system will take.

Stephanie, post the link and I'll see if I can upload it for you. It's pretty unusual for a publisher site to be a problem.

I don't know what the size limit is -- you might try asking in the Feedback group. (I would think that either the edit page should have some guidelines or at the very least the error message should say what the limit is that's been exceeded.)
