I thought this would be a good thread to post books that you have just read that you would like to recommend to other members.

Just fiished reading Captain Correli's Mandolin and P.S. I love you. Both were amazing because they make you laugh-out-load in a crowded room and cry so hard that you want all your comfort foods and a teddy to hold. I really loved them both, if you're a woman and love romance you have to read these two books!

I've read one of her other books as well. I can't remember the title but it wasn't as great as gypsy. It was about a nurse that falls in love with a doctor when all the while she's part of the aristocracy.

Some are better than others.
I never liked the circus as a child and I still dont today, but this book was a wonderful story of the Circus and all the trouble that goes with it.
Sounds cool, I know that there is going to be a movie about this book :)
Niecole wrote: "Sounds cool, I know that there is going to be a movie about this book :)"Yes I have heard that Niecole, should be good. Have you read the Handmaids Tale By Margaret Atwood Niecole? Is it any good, I have heard good thigns about the book.
OOh, I know you asked Niecole that question, but I have to jump in and say The Handmaid's Tale is one of my favourite books. It's beautiful and thought-provoking.I think it would actually make a great group read, there's lots to talk about. I think I'll nominate it the next time I get a chance...

Thanks Lauren I was thinking of reading it after I finish Dragonfly in Amber. I am in the mood for intelligent books at the moment. :-)
I just wanted to also say before Lauren cut in that Lauren is a Margaret Atwood fan :)
I've got the book that Lauren sent me, and I still have to read it. But I've only heard good things about this author Emma :)
