Lerize (atalanta) | 70 comments Just fiished reading Captain Correli's Mandolin and P.S. I love you. Both were amazing because they make you laugh-out-load in a crowded room and cry so hard that you want all your comfort foods and a teddy to hold. I really loved them both, if you're a woman and love romance you have to read these two books!

You should try her other books Lerize, they are equally as good. I started reading Lesley Pearse when I was back in England and I just love her books.

Lerize (atalanta) | 70 comments I've read one of her other books as well. I can't remember the title but it wasn't as great as gypsy. It was about a nurse that falls in love with a doctor when all the while she's part of the aristocracy.

Lauren Smith OOh, I know you asked Niecole that question, but I have to jump in and say The Handmaid's Tale is one of my favourite books. It's beautiful and thought-provoking.

I think it would actually make a great group read, there's lots to talk about. I think I'll nominate it the next time I get a chance...

Thanks Lauren I was thinking of reading it after I finish Dragonfly in Amber. I am in the mood for intelligent books at the moment. :-)
