Welcome, Edward.

Welcome, Welcome!!!
You should be able to add to your TBR list after perusing the various folders :)

Haha. Well, I shouldn't have mentioned Pearl Harbor here.

Welcome, Rishabh. Please feel free to pitch in.

Welcome Rishabh..this is such a great group.

Welcome, Adam. You'll find many books through this group -- perhaps too many.

Welcome, Welcome!!
Be prepared to see you TBR list expand exponentially ;)

Welcome, Megan. This group will add to your TBR pile.

Welcome Megan, nice to have another airpower aficionado here! We might have a few books to recommend...

Welcome Megan...you are in for some great recommendations...this is a wonderful group

I absolutely loved both books! Thanks to you both for such interesting and informative works.

I can remember the day my dad came home from work and said the war was over. However, I don't remember any conversation about the war. I loved watching war movies when I was in high school. It wasn't until I came across the first movie about Anne Frank starring,
I think Millie Perkins, that I became absorbed with WWII. Most of my reading has been about concentration camps and Jewish survival.
I haven't known anyone else interested in WWII subjects so I am already enjoying this site. I have bought several books from others'
recommendations. I loved A Woman in Berlin and have become interested in finding out viewpoints of German citizens and Russians also.

Welcome Barbara, I developed a similar interest after meeting a group of European refugees that had been friends before the war and rediscovered each other in New York. A few had survived being hidden by French families and a few had survived the camps others managed to flee to colonial territories. They were remarkable people and Their experiences drew me further into aspects of the violence within both Nazi Germany and the Soviet governments who had so little regard for civilians.

My advice to you: buy more bookshelves immediately. You will need them.
