I was just watching that. Is it Mary Poppins?

Across the Universe? No...not mary poppins.

Oh, I wasn't sure what I saw. I thought it was a victorian lady with an umbrella. It reminded me of Mary Poppins. When I first saw her though, I thought it was a tree. I have a huge tree across my back.

LOL I so agree Heather!!!!!!!
Now a question for you. Who is the cutie on your avatar?
He looks about 16 but he is still super cute!
Ya, Ya... Ive been waiting on suggestions for a new pic... So far I have only had one... I can change it to that, just for you Heather.

He loo..."
Sidney Crosby. He may have been 16 in the pic, not sure. He'll be 23 in August though, so totally legal...if not a little gross.
A gal can dream.

Well....if you want. I don't want to rock the boat or anything. lol
'Tis already done... A nice, yummy pic of Eric, a great big piece of Viking, vampire man meat! Just for ya darling.

I have been noticing my eyes wandering more and more to the younger..(20's) cuties... I think it's my refusal to believe I am getting O-L-D... GAWD!!! Cougar Much??? Good thing I am happily married, and would NEVER act on it... Just good eye candy on the T.V Screen.

That is just wrong and I never looked at him twice again can you say JAIL BAIT!
Oh and I won't even tell you how old I felt after that. Full disclosure I was 34!!
LMAO... Awesome.. So we're not the only creepy couger-esqe one's out there Heather... OUR GOODREAD FRIENDS ROCK!!!

18....oppps!!!!!! Kelly you are not old!!!!
I second the statement that you are NOT old, I do however completely understand where the thought process comes from... I feel OLD at 32.

30 didn't bother me... at all. 31 did.. it was quite strange. Now I'll be 33 in January.. and that just sucks.. But I guess it's better than the alternative.

What's the alternative?

:-)"
Oh Kelly that is not true.

Not turning 33.. Lol.

Kelly, you are hilarious. I love your story and it made me consider this little tidbit:
I would never act on any thoughts that I have about a much younger guy (well, I desperately want a guy who's 4 years younger than me and Jamie was that much younger than Claire, so it's all good), but I have to admit...when I see these beautiful young men around me, I forget that I'm actually an old lady now. I genuinely feel early 20's (cool and totally hip with the “now”) and then am totally mystified as to where the time's gone when I remember how old I really am. I think that’s normal though and healthy; if I went around lamenting about being in my 30’s, I’d be depressed and develop a complex.
I feel like now is the prime time of my life and I’m creating new hobbies for myself because I feel that I’m so comfortable in my skin (finally!!) that I can truly enjoy the little things in life...hence my volunteer time at our local hockey club. Getting out there a couple times a week and letting my hair down can only be a benefit to my social life, private life, self-esteem and general outlook on how everything’s grooving along in my little world, right?

If you do, it's where you would shelve books that you read every month - if you do group reads, for example.
Otherwise, if you were to read a book that you thought was fantabulous and wanted all of us to read, you could shelve it on the group bookshelf so everyone could see it right away, rather than having to go through your bookshelves or to search the book by title.
