Just rated and reviewed The Beggar's Opera by Peggy Blair. It's a first in a new series, and I'm looking forward to more.

, another fabulous book! Never a dull moment in this one either, which is especially important when listening because you can't skim pages!Just started reading
and listening to
.
I've just started
by Todd Robinson. I'd not even heard of the author before, but I started to read the sample of this book and just couldn't stop so I bought it and kept reading. One of those books that just really grabs you from the start.I want to add that this book is lendable on Kindle, so PM me if you are interested in borrowing.
Just finished reading Midnight Alley - Rachel Caine. Now I am going to read Hearts and Arrows - David G. Pearce.
I'm currently reading and almost finished The Man in the High Castle, an alternate history by Philip K. Dick and just started The Killings At Badger's Drift by Caroline Graham.
Just finished Walking the Perfect Square which was great.Bill wrote: "I'm currently reading and almost finished The Man in the High Castle, an alternate history by Philip K. Dick and just started The Killings At Badger's Drift by Caroline Graham."

Altered Carbon a PKD award winner.
Bill wrote: "It sounds interesting, Ctgt.. I may have to look it up. :0)"I'm 60 pages in and it's very good so far. Kind of a mashup of sci/fi, noir and private eye.
I finished Suspect by Robert Crais. I enjoyed it. I'm going to finish up One For The Money tonight then this weekend I'll start Pursuit of Honor by Vince Flynn
I just started listening to the audio version of Tana French's
. This is my first book by this author. Has anyone read her books before? Any insight? So far the story is good and I love the Irish accent:-)Tay, I plan on reading
this weekend. I won a hard copy of the book from the publisher....I never win anything so that just made my day. This will be the first hard cover book I have read in several years. Almost everything I read is an e-book but hey this was free so no complaints.
HiJust finished yesterday the book "Kill Me If You Can", read this in three days. A record for me, but this book, a first read of a James Patterson novel for me, was so fast paced with incredible twists and turns and great characters.
Highly recommended, very highly.
regards
Seam
I'm reading Down the Darkest Road by Tami Hoag. This is the 3rd in a trilogy set in the 80's. The first 2 were really good.
Just finished A Leprechaun's Lament which has been on my 'to read' list for quite some time.Very good ... have downloaded the first book in the series and will start it tonight.
Just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn which was excellent. Now reading The House of Silk by Antony Horowitz which is a complete change of pace but also very good

I am reading the Gaslight mysteries by Victoria Thompson. They are very good, but you have to read them in order. Love the developing relationships.
Just finished A Great Deliverance by Elizabeth George which is the first Lynley mystery. I had read another book by her and although you don't have to read them in order I found that reading this gave me a better insight to the repeat characters. A good book and will plan on reading more.I just started Judge & Jury by James Patterson and already trying to decide what to read next!!!

I read her other books in print but I really enjoyed listening to the book as I am a sucker for an Irish accent. I thought the story was compelling and character development (which is a biggie for me) was well done. What did you think?

Just finished The Night Ranger by Alex Berenson. Another great John Wells thriller! Now I'm starting The Afrika Reich: A Novel by Guy Saville.
I finished reading
and decided to read an ebook I purchased in 2009,
. I enjoyed Hollywood Station but decided I did not want to read the series back to back. Reviews for this one seem to indicate that it will not be as good as Hollywood Station. I will see.
Tad wrote: "Just finished The Night Ranger by Alex Berenson. Another great John Wells thriller! Now I'm starting The Afrika Reich: A Novel by Guy Saville."The Night Ranger sounds like alot like Vince Flynn books. I'm going to check this series out.

I'm currently half way through
by Philip K. Dick; quite different from the previous one I just read and am just starting
by Emma Ruby-Sachs.
I just finished reading
, and I can see why it's a best-seller! Quite a gripping read with lots of suspects, motives, and corruption!
I'm busy reading Live Wire by Harlan Coben.Loving it so far, but I have a feeling its the last of the series. Hopefully not.

I then read In the Woods and just finished The Likeness, both of which are also excellent. Don't know if I should take a quick break and read a quick book or jump into the next one. They are not quick one day reads for me, usually takes more, but they do consume me once I get going. What a hard decision - love these tough choices!
Just finished The Sherlockian by Graham Moore. Loved it! Starting today Last Chance Lassiter by Paul Levine.
Dottie wrote: "Tay wrote: "Kelly wrote: "I just started listening to the audio version of Tana French's

I have the audio version and it is over 19 hours long so it is taking me a while to get through it. I mostly listen on my commute to and from work.
