I love making lists as well as planning what I'm going to read :) I don't think I'm the only one am I!?!
I thought why only have ONE list?
Okay so I was going to keep a reading list on a spreadsheet but then I thought why not create a thread for it on here. I'm going to use it to track my challenges etc too.
So now personally I will have my 50+ book challenge and my reading list!

I would love to read 80 this year to beat my 60 read last year
I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things. I used to read about 10-12 books a month. The last few years i've been good to get 2-3 books done and that includes an audiobook. lol So i set a challenge to read 100. This will be my first year using this site to keep track of my books instead of my blog.
My personal challenge is to read at least one of the group reads/ book of the month books for the main groups I belong to during the month the group is reading the book (in addition/combination with other challenges) so I can join in the discussions. So far I'm off to a rocky start. January is slipping away and I'm still in the middle of First Grave on the Right.
Trying to read 400 books, these will include novellas, its going to be hard but I am already 2% ahead sooooooo lets hope and can keep up the momentum.
Okay, I'm going to try and read 24 books this year. It's a small number but I don't get a lot of reading time. Might have to put in a few audio books and maybe a couple of novella's but I'm determined, since I failed my challenge last year so epically.
It's not too late to join this is it? I've already read a bunch of books this year... Way ahead of last year since at this time last year i'd only read one lol
I love reading but I've never been good at keeping track of how much I read so I'd like to have a goal of at least 25 books for the year no less than one a month.Jan

I've set myself a target of 100 this year and Im already 72 books in! Kindles are quite addictive...
I joined in November and I'd already read a lot of books, but of course it didn't register on here that I'd read them. I set myself a goal of reading 10 books before the end of the year, I've read 11 and I'm likely to finish the two I'm reading at the moment before New Year too :)
Updated it now to include books I read before joining goodreads, I can only remember what I've read from September onwards. So from September, I've read 19 books :)
I would like to read 150 books this year. That is 30 more book higher then my goal for 2013. This will also include any re-reads I may do. Good Luck with everyone!
Wow! You go girl! I keep picking 100 books. It use to be so easy to hit that and beyond. For the past three years I never make it anymore. It's so strange.
guess I had more time for reading when I was in highschool and under. *sigh* Doesn't help that I'm a slow reader.
Still on my first book, The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead. I am trying to read 100 books this year seeing I read about 90 last year and I'm already off to a rocky start.Good luck everyone!!
I'm into thick books, Last year, among others, I read the Ice And fie series, starting with Game of Thrones, the five books are 1,000 + pages in average. I managed about 18 books. This year I had set my goal to 15 and already have gone through three, so I guess that I'll have to increase my goal.
I don't want to raise it too high, as I still have to finish WRITING my own Novel and Short story collection.
Make that two books, just finished The Golden Lily and I remembered that I read Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick earlier this year. Really need to catch up!
Go Jess! I'm trying to hit 100 this year as well. I remember when it wasn't this hard to hit that number before.
I easily read 106 books for a school challenge last year between the months of Februaryand September. But some girl in my grade cheated - and everyone but the teachers knew it - so I came second. You would think someone would be suspicious that she handed in 123 book slips in the last few weeks of the competition? And we all know she hates reading, she just wanted the Dymocks book card! >.<
I'm at with my busy life at 6 books since new years.I need a nook.or kinds any eink reader... The nexus 7 taking me longer causeI get distracted LOL.Any extras for sale plmk plmk
My yearly book challenge is 72 books. So far I've read 8 books so far. I'm on book nine. I've read the first 6 books in the Chicagoland Vampires series, Michael Cunningham's A Home at the End of the World and Tambourins to Glory by Langston Hughes. Now I'm on the latest Chicagoland book, House Rules.

If you want to set yourself a reading challenge just start off a new thread with an indication of what your challenge is eg "Jen's 50+ book challenge". Post in as you read any books including all your group read and challenge books
You can have any reading goals or book lists you like here as well as your personal challenges. :)
