Not to be a whiny person, but...I kinda feel like having the vampires not requiring blood, having no restrictions, and having the general public know about them and not mind...at least to me, it kinda feels like it makes them almost normal. I wouldn't mind all the restrictions, needing blood to survive, and being constantly hunted; it makes them very interesting to roleplay, because you have to come up with creative solutions for what seems ordinary to us. Just giving my opinion =/

Oh, forgot the conclusion to my paragraph o' whine: what if we had two open-ended vampire RPs, one where the vampires didn't have the 'classic' restrictions, and one that did? We already have the restriction-less one; I can help with the 'classic' vampire RP if you want to make one, especially since there are a lot of powers that vampires have been given over time, and not all of them are well-known. Let me know if I can be of any help =)As a side-note: For any of those who're wondering why I just showed up one day and started acting like I have an idea of what's been going on, it's okay; I'm Matt's brother. He's been trying to get me to join, and apparently I finally did =P

I kinda based the main vampire roleplay off of vampire knight.
Also, The Vampire Kisses Roleplay is pretty much traditional...But with a goth kind of twist.
I can make a new one though..
Uhm, Me and Erin/Brianna can collaborate. And I do agree with the blood restrictions. I thought about it last night after Matthew mentioned you posting and whining. xD So, I think me and Erin will talk. And, there has been the need for blood in the beginning of the Vampire RP. And there is currently a hunt going in the Vampire Diaries Rp. So, how's bout me and Erin collab, and if/when we make decisions, we/I will change this forum post. That sound cool? Erin, Text when you read this.

Okay. So I've changed it. I added restriction and everything. Aaron, let me know if that's better. Me and Erin are going to talk more in depth later when we can MSN. So yeah. :)
It's fine with me; like I said, I'm fine with however you choose to set it up, I just like having to come up with weird/creative solutions for stuff. I might have some additional restrictions on my characters as individuals; like Holy Water having an effect on John, due to his bloodline or something.For the blood issue, I like the idea of it being a weekly/monthly need. The longer they stave off blood, the weaker they become, and the more difficult it would be to not bite someone. The solution I have for John would be to have him occasionally break into blood banks or hospitals, as well as to have him (as a matter of principle) only drink the blood of slayers. That's how I'm going to roleplay John; if you have a problem with any of it, just let me know and I'll make the appropriate changes =)
Due*And that's cool, because when we first had blood in this RP, we had it from blood banks and whatnot, SOOOOO, if you wanna do that, that's cool. But I had an idea: Interveiw With A Vampire type of RP. If you have seen it. If not,((and you're too afraid of blood like Matt, even when it's reallllllly fake XD)) uhmm, I could loan it to you. I like the concept in it. The old fashioned Vampires in that movie.
So lemme know how that idea goes, cause me and Erin have talked about it, and it's just up to anyone who would like to have that RP.

I haven't seen it, although I have heard of it. And if it involves blood, Matthew's gonna hate it xDI could tie him down before I watch it with him, if ya want =P

it's so fake, but that's the basic 1800's vampire. Classic.
In the regular Vampire RP:
-We aren't the kind of vampires that can be killed by sunlight. We roam around in the day. We aren't going to die from Holy Water or Garlic. We DO NOT SPARKLE. We do need blood, but you have to take into account the fact that the past month in our RP has been about a week.. So unless they need it three times a day, THAT is up to your discretion. We are known to human, as a race, not individuals. Some go to school to blend, but the school isn't segregated like it was previously. ((alterations)) We are hunted. Some Vampires are being recruited into The Black Cross as spies, but The Cross usually disposes of them unless they are a very good insider. I cannot think of any further restrictions, if you have any, let me know.
