There will be an reading/discussion poll starting in a few weeks time for novels by lesser known authors who are members of the group. These are novels that the authors themselves have written and nominated, then members will decide in a Poll which title interests them for a reading/discussion.

These are mainly self-published or small press titles that you don't normally see on the bookstore shelves. I know some authors are giving away some books for free and also some titles have the Ebook format of the novel for sale at reduced pricing.

This poll will take place every three months in addition to our usual monthly polls for novels nominated by members. It replaces the Goodread authors poll which is now terminated. Please note that this new poll is under trial to see how much interest members have.

So check out the titles and have a read of the first chapters in preparation for this poll, when it starts in a few weeks:

Some of the free novels being given away by the authors during the nomination process:

Curly Raphino is giving away 10 copies of his novel Fire in the Ocean: A New Testament to those who live in the USA. This giveaway offer will close April 9. Find the entry to this comp at the Goodreads link to his novel.

Celeste Simone is giving away a free autographed copy of her novel Oriana's Eyes from her Offical website. Entries close April 30.
