1. I think it was something on Goodreads. Usually, Goodreads give me a good chuckle. I remembered laughing at Bandit having to corset her ribs, but it wasn't hysterical.
2. Dry wit. That's why it's usually Goodreads members who give me good chuckles. I love smart, witty people. Unfortunately, not too many in real life, or willing to express themselves that way.
3. Yes, farts are funny. My daughter and I laugh whenever gas is passed. I have one gassy daughter. She holds it in all day at school, then lets it out in the car on the way home. I read The Gas We Pass: The Story of Farts to her when she was little.
