I am also afraid they will get rid of all or at least most groups (sigh). I have my reviews set to comments from friends only and that works pretty well (would hate to have no comments allowed at all).

Other groups where I'm discussing this are saying that this is most likely the start of phasing out the site because it doesn't do anything it needs that Amazon doesn't.

Ugh. It does things *users* (i.e., real people) need that Amazon doesn't. But I suppose that doesn't matter to them :(

Nope. They're laying off like 30,000 people despite soaring profits, most likely because it all can be done with AI.

Doesn't anyone read science fiction anymore??
