Did you know that there is a mini-series ("Pillars of the Earth")? I saw it and it is really good. I heard that it pretty much follows the book. You can get it at Blockbuster online or probably Netflix.

I love it as well, Erin. I exchanged emails with Nicky Charles and asked her why the books were free. I told her that she could charge for them and people would still buy them because they were that good. She says that she writes for the enjoyment and likes to hear if someone enjoys her book.

I love Julie and Julia, and how is the Castaways so far? I never read Hilderbrand but am definitely planning on bringing a few of her books to the beach this summer:)

message 448: by Donnajo (new)

Donnajo I just got those. I had 1 or 2 of them and just got the last one I'll move them up on the pile to be read. Lately one or 2 of the free books I got weren't that good so like hearing when something is good so I could read it.
I think this is going to be a nook reading weekend because lately I've been reading more DT books than nook books. Right now I'm trying to get though On the run by Iris johansen. which I usually enjoy her books but this is taking me longer to get into. not really that far into the book yet so maybe that is the problem.

I couldn't get into it either. After more than 50 pages I decided to quit suffering and go to something I would enjoy!
