I am really loving Julie and Julia so far. I saw the movienon tv the other day and it was adorable. I had tonstop about 1/4 of the way through when myson's girlfriend told me there was a book for it. I didn't want to ruin the reading experience with the movie. The Castaways is really good so far too, but I have been neglecting it for Julie and Julia. ;)

☕️Kimberly (Caffeinated Reviewer) (kimbacaffeinate) finished Water for elephants..now reading A fistful of charms..wahoo! woot! woot!

I had a friend advise me to stick with the first 100 pages and she said it got better. Good advice. I really enjoyed it and jumped right into the second. Saving the third for upcoming vacation!

Are you talking about Dead Reckoning? If so, it's not a true blood book. The TV show and the books are quite different.

Sandra (sleo) Dissolution, a mystery that takes place in the England of Henry VIII and Lord Cromwell (not Oliver). Looks like an interesting mystery/historical novel combination.

Just finished Heavy Time and Hellburner which I got from C.J. Cherryh's website, Closed Circle. Great books. Wish more by her was available as ebooks.

Add me to the list of those who couldn't get through enough of this book to get to where others say it becomes excellent. For me it's a case of so many books, so little time. Why force myself to spend some of that precious time on a book I'm not enjoying.

A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin . I'm currently reading another book that took a while to get into but, unlike Dragon Tattoo, after I put the book down, A Game of Thrones kept calling me back to finish it. I believe it was a free book long before the HBO series started.

Renae (romanticparvenu) Taking a break for my normal genres and dabbling in nonfiction. So far, The Lady Queen The Notorious Reign of Joanna I, Queen of Naples, Jerusalem, and Sicily by Nancy Goldstone is very interesting. Obscure medieval history written engagingly.

It is a wonderful read Michelle, I first came across it in .....well it was a long time ago and the year had a 19 in front of it! The old Disney movie of it was not bad either but I think the casting was inspired rather than the Script. You might like "Fahrenheit 451" and "The Martian Chronicles" too as well as "The Illustrated Man". Loved 'em all. Enjoy! Have a good one

You should definitely give Dandelion Wine a look. It is one of my favorite Bradbury books, though less sci-fi than most.

A Foxtrotter Reads (sendanowl) I am reading an Uninvited Ghost.
