message 164: by Psmoore (new)

Psmoore Well I just finished Think Of A Number. Very good book. It's was a pretty quick read as I couldn't put it down. Chapter and chapter kept my going.

Susan - The Passage I thought was a GREAT book. Can't wait for the next two in the series. They've already started working on the movie.

Now I'm gonna pick back up with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (if I can get past the boring stuff in the beginning.. hard to hold my interest so far) gonna give it a little longer to get my interest or it's going bye bye..

message 165: by Hännah (new)

Hännah Marie (hannah708) | 11 comments What page are you on?
BTW-the Passage is my next book to read!

I'm on page 28 (Start of Chapter 2) in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Just can't get into it yet. I know, I know.. have to give it more then 28 pages, but it's been hard to flip to the next page with all this boring stuff. We'll see how it goes.

I'm reading Think of a Number Think of a Number A Novel by Verdon, John now and I'm really enjoying it! You're right..tough to put down.

Also, try to keep going with The girl with the Dragon Tattoo...the beginning is a struggle, but I swear that the worst part and the rest of the book is so worth it. I absolutely loved it!

message 172: by Dorie (new)

Dorie (dorieann) Kelly, I love the 'In Death' series! I've read all of them and always eagerly anticipate the next.

Jamie, congratulations on your new Nook! What did you name it?

message 173: by Scott (new)

Scott | 292 comments Currently I am reading The Circle Trilogy. I am not quite halfway through the first book and it is pretty good so far.

I would consider this a sci-fi book since the main character jumps between two different worlds.

I listened to these on audio last year and enjoyed them a lot. The narrator is very good. Susan Erickson.

Thanks. =]

For now I just named it "My Library." I'm gonna name it something else once I think of a fitting name. Though, really, it is my library.

message 179: by TheThirdLie (new)

TheThirdLie Got a nook for my birthday yesterday and am loving it! I got home kinda late so I only loaded up one book on it, but I'm enjoying it so much!

Currently reading: Roadkill (Cal Leandros #5) by Rob Thurman. It's so wonderful reading on the nook.

I haven't come up with a really good name yet, unfortunately. I guess I'm just not very clever. Maybe I should just call it "My Happy"?

This is my first book by this author and I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would. Will definitely read the rest in this series.

Leana (craftychick) | 18 comments I am reading Dark Lover, Black Dagger Brotherhood series book 1. LOVE it! And then I will finish Beastly by Alex Flinn. It's good, but dragging for me so I needed a break from it.

Anyone hate when the ebook has a space between every paragraph?? Drives me crazy! But I try not to let it.

Lori {Romancing the Dark Side} (romancingthedarkside) Leana,
I just finished Dark Lover and also loved it! I plan on reading the series back to back. I also hate the space on the ebooks but it usually happens to me with pdfs. I downloaded the Calibre software which converts pdfs into epub format which is what most ebooks come in. This has omitted the blank pages for me!!!

message 194: by Leana (new)

Leana (craftychick) | 18 comments Sweet Lori! Can't wait to read the next one. I will finish this book before I get paid so I will haveto wait to buy book #2 :(. But as soon as I get paid I'm getting it!

My husband uses that software for my books when I buy e books somewhwere other than b&n! It helps a ton. but I've noticed even with Ebooks I get from b&n some still come that way.
doesn't drive me crazy enough to not read the books though! :-)

I've listened to a couple of them too and that's actually what got me hooked. I do love my Nook, though!! I've also been working my way through Laurell Hamilton's Anita Blake series. Really enjoying them!

ps my Nook is "George" ;-)

message 196: by Leana (new)

Leana (craftychick) | 18 comments Hahaha Kelly! Love your Nooks nickname. Mine is Betty. Not really sure how I cake up with it but its stuck.

I have some of the in death series but I think I want them as audio books now. I haven't gotten into them but I've heard nothing but good things about theme.

I've only read the first Anita Blake book and it wasn't my fav even though I totally love the genre. Maybe ill have to give it another try though!
