Heidi Sheila - I just think they are close like brother and sister.

Heidi Picked up Hunger (Gone #2) by Michael Grant and Second Helpings (Jessica Darling, #2) by Megan McCafferty at the library.

Chachic Yay Heidi, you're going to read Second Helpings! Let me know what you think when you're done.

I just finished reading Chrestomanci Volume 1, which contains the first two Chrestomanci books: Charmed Life and The Lives of Christopher Chant. I'm about to read Chrestomanci Volume 2, which contains Witch Week and The Magicians of Caprona.

The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, Volume I Charmed Life / The Lives of Christopher Chant (Chrestomanci, #1 & #2) by Diana Wynne Jones The Chronicles of Chrestomanci, Volume II The Magicians of Caprona / Witch Week (Chrestomanci, #3 & #4) by Diana Wynne Jones

Becca | 1608 comments Chachic! Those are funny interesting in a really good way books. I enjoyed them and I really should go back and finish the series. Let me know what you thought.

message 156: by Chachic (new)

Chachic Becca, I really liked them! Well, I liked The Lives of Christopher Chant more than Charmed Life because Christopher's childhood is a lot more interesting than Cat's. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the series and more Diana Wynne Jones in general!

Jethro (jethroclarke) | 4 comments I'm currently leafing through The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon. Afterwards, I plan on reading either Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte or Life of Pi by Yann Martel.

Heidi Loved the Curious Incident - it is great on audiobook!

Heidi Up next for me is Chasing Brooklyn and Daughter of the Forest - I have had both books from the library for over a month, but need to return them soon, so I need to read them ASAP.

Victoria (closer2coma86) | 83 comments Next for me is The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan, the final book in the Percy Jackson series
:-(

Chasing Brooklyn is pretty good. It's a really fast read since it's written in verse, the pages aren't filled up.

message 164: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Yes Peep I noticed that you did not think Chasing Brooklyn sucked, so that helped my decision to read it (since we are kind of book twins and everything :)

Don't hold me to that though, it's been a while since I read it, haha.

Yep, and it's still in the Percy Jackson world, too.

Annd I liked The Lost Hero better than the Percy Jackson series, but that's just me. Still, it's something to look forward to Victoria. :)

Heidi I won't blame you if I don't like it Peep :)
