Emma Blue (litlover) All he does is get sickos on his show or pregnant teens!!!! And exploit all the addicts. Real wonderful guy.

Emma Blue (litlover) I also hate the fact that I'm killing all these threads.

I hate Oprah for introducing this unethical hack to the rest of the world.

message 4: by Lisa (new)

Lisa I hate that unethical hack (the guy actually lost his license to practice for an undescribed 'unethical relationship' with a patient...use your imagination) for making us ethical hacks...I mean, ethical psychologists look bad.

Dear everybody,

Real psychologists don't shout at you. Heck, for the most part, we don't even tell you what to do. He doesn't represent us, or anyone else in the mental health field. We've disowned him.

Thanks,
Lisa

message 5: by Tesse (new)

Tesse (hooksinmyhead) I have never taught at a pre or elementary school level but I was a counselor (ages 3 to 5) at the La Jolla YWCA for a few years.

Much to my chagrin I was referred to as Miss Tesse. When I tried to insist that no honorific was necessary the lead counselor told me that the kids referring to me by just my first name would lead to unwanted familiarity and a lack of respect. I pondered this potential decline in etiquette while I picked Cheerios out of my hair and scraped mucous off my shirt with my fingernail and decided the rule was a bit silly.

After the couselor experience I have noticed that many kids from about the ages of three to seven or eight call adult females Miss "Blank", so I can ususally spot the ones that have been through daycare.

I HATE being referred to as Miss Tesse, it does not make me misty-eyed, just grumpy.

Tesse (hooksinmyhead) Oooops, and I hate Dr. Phil too. What an ass hat.

message 7: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) He isn't even a psychologist. An unethical relationship, ooooooo. I can picture it already, yikes! If he was serious, he would not be in scary movie.

The Cute Little Brown-haired girl I think what is most annoying about Dr. Phil is his constant use of his own cliches. "If you yell in front of your kids, it changes who they are...it writes on the tablet of their lives!" or "Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior"...or "Where I come from...." As if he is saying something like "Bond...James Bond" or "Go ahead...make my day!" each time he says these things. It just drives me nuts.

Oh, and Robin, his wife,....that girl has some Chiclets for teeth. I think the guy who did her porcelin veneres made them and ooch too big, ya think?

Oh, and Lisa, I LOVE Grover!! Thanks for the cool pic moniker. Very cool!! :)

message 9: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) I hate that as well, it's basically the same thing over and over, but people keep watching, so it keeps going. His wife annoys me, she seems like a robot, she would be the perfect president's wife.

message 10: by Jackie "the Librarian" (last edited May 21, 2008 09:14PM) (new)

Jackie "the Librarian" the guy actually lost his license

Ah, I see. He's "Dr." Phil.

:::wink, wink:::

message 11: by Not Bill (new)

Not Bill I hate his stupid overbite. I really hate how he used to lecture others on weight loss. That one reeeeeeeeeally pissed me off. Like he's Mr. Universe. What an asstard. Thanks Oprah.

message 12: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Oh, Jackie, how awesome it would be if he lost his degree when he lost his license. He's still Dr. what-the-fuck-ever-you-screaming-bastard-who-needs-anger-control-work-yourowndamnself. He just isn't a psychologist. (I'll admit, Dr. Asstard and I are in sorta the same boat because I've got the degree but I'm not licensed yet, but I never lost my license after "inappropriate-relationshiping" with a client...).

message 13: by Alen (new)

Alen (caffeinatedeyes) I hate his face, and his monotone voice, I wish for once somebody would punch him in the nutz to get some high pitch sounds out of that donkey-man.

message 14: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) Yes please, could they also punch the rating obsession out of his head?

message 15: by Tesse (new)

Tesse (hooksinmyhead) Yes, welcome!

message 16: by Alen (new)

Alen (caffeinatedeyes) THANK YOU THANK YOU, this appears to be the place to be after 23 cups of coffee.

message 17: by Lori (new)

Lori Heh, I've never even seen him. But I read about him occasionally in the news or gossip, and he seems like an asshole. A complete hack too.

You know who else I can't stand? Oprah. 25 years ago I like her. But the last decade, blech. And after her "terrible" Hermes experience that she whined about and cried racism, she proved herself to be just another egomaniac.

message 18: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) Oprah so completely bugs me. I remember watching about a woman who was raped, and she acted like she asked for it. Oprah, you should know it's not her fault! You went through the same experience! Shame on you!
