BDB Group? Well, having only read one book (the first one). I dont feel like I'm well-versed enough in BDB-ology to start a dare. I'd join it if someone else did. Yes, I'm chicken! LOL
LOL. We respect your chicken-like behavior, Gigi! Yeah, I wouldn't recommend going over to the BDB group until you've read the other books since there are A LOT of spoilers over there.
I struggled to get through all of them in time for lover mine, so I am not sure how it would work either. But I am definitely getting LM, and reading it next week ;)

Debbie, I quit that challenge after Dark Lover, LOL. Although, it's not entirely my fault. I borrowed all the BDB books from a friend and I had to give Lover Eternal and Lover Awakened to another friend. It was very hard for me to give up my Z, LOL :)Rossy, you're just all about starting all those Dare Challenges, aren't you, LOL. First The League, now BDB. You are going to have your hands full, my friend :)

Cathy, I was just able to put Bittenon hold at the library. I must confess, I didn't know I could put holds on library books from libraries in our same district (other counties)and have them delivered to my branch (insert blushing emoticon guy here). This has opened up a whole new world for me and I'm next in line on the hold list for Bitten! Not sure if I'll get it this month, but I'm hoping!

Gigi, I would totally support you if you started a BDB Dare. Even though I've read the whole series, and am currently counting down the seconds - like a child waiting for Christmas - for the release of Lover Mine, I'd gladly re-read the whole thing. (phew, can anyone say run on sentence) I haven't picked one up since I finished Lover Avenged last year, so I'm all for it!

Penney-I posted the Dare here, if you're interested!Debbie-Dares work sort of like Buddy Reads. The only thing is that you're daring those who want to join and read along with you, to discuss a certain topic. The Dares can be from any particular book, series, genre or author. The person setting the Dare also sets the duration for it.
thanks for the info, - I guess it was an unofficial dare then. A few of my GR friends 'egged' me on to see if I could finish the entire series before LM came out next week. lol, Happy to say I did it! :)
I've found i really like dares. Sometimes i need that big push and some company to try something i'm not entirely sure about.
And you are doing a great job with the dares. : )

The Dares are pretty cool, though. I'm doing one that Rossy started for Sherrilyn Kenyon's League series and it's pretty cool :)

By the way, I couldn't decide between Pack Challenge and Slave to Sensation so I read them both.
They were both good, funny and interesting but I really really liked the psy-changeling series better. I just finished book 3 and I already started book 4.
I liked Pack challenge, specially the girls... they're hilarious!

My hold on Cry Wolf recently came in at the library & I'm gonna read it after I'm finished with the three I started. Hush,Hush came in on hold too but I really wanted use the former for my April challenge since you (& a few others) have been recommending I give Patricia Briggs a 2nd chance.

Rachel:I just started Blood Brotherstoday; I had to wait for the library to get it in. I'm not very far yet, I just made it to the present, but so far so good! It kind of reminds me of It a little, but without all King's long-winded descriptions. I'm taking it with me on vacation, so I'll let you know what I thought of it as soon as I get back (May 2nd or 3rd).
Finished Only By Your Touch. Ben was a very interesting character. Definitely a different kind of love story. I really liked Ben. Avidreader, thanks again for the recs. Finished all 4 of my recs.

I finally got and finished My Soul to Take by Rachel Vincent today. It was a good YA book. Thanks NewMoonGirl for the rec.
I have both of my books started Legend and Covet but with my work, and photojim's possibly now favorite "super secret squirrel work" location, I don't know if i'll get them read, but i'm trying (it sucks because I have two 12 hour shifts coming up and they would be great to read during then :( ) I guess i'll get my schoolwork done, then i can read during the day when i'm home sleeping/getting ready for work the next day!

Hi Ari,Today I finished Both Sides of Time! You didn't tell me I was going to get sucked into a series!!! :) I enjoyed it very much. It was a nice easy and quick read. I just can't believe it ended on such a cliff hanger! Now I am going to have to read Out of Time and probably the rest of the quartet ASAP! Thanks for the great rec! :)
I started and finished my first book, Wake by Lisa McMann, in 2.5 hours. Who's proud of me? It was so good that I stayed up until 3:15 A.M. so I could finish it. My review can be found here:

I FINISHED :)This month has been a slow reading month for me but...I finished some online college so I guess that makes up for it.
Ahrcadia ~(Fhantasie)~ Thank you very much for the picks this month. Touch the DarkbyKaren Chance was a very interesting read. Her visions and descriptions were very detailed and graphic. There were a lot of characters and I do look forward to seeing what Karen Chance does next.
I hope you enjoyed First Drop of Crimson It was on my TBR list so I finally read it. The story was good and the characters were fun. The only part that lost me was the flying and the shape shifting at the end, but all together it was a neat book and worth the time.
I look forward to the next months challenge.
