Well, how in the heck did I miss this thread? I've been waaaaay too out if lately. Darnit. Yes, I am the local astro-junkie... but (and Bun will argue this with me till the cows come home) it's about seeing patterns that correspond with planetary movement, not necessarily that the archaic ways of seeing these planets is correct. When you get a good astrologer to read the patterns, they can be quite spot on. (And no, I'm not a good astrologer, so don't ask)I'm a Leo (there are 6 in my family) with a Virgo rising & moon in Libra. And a metal dog. Pretty much all this means that I'm kid-like & love to have fun (preferrably in the sunshine) but can be immature, I'm a detail person who tends to internalize my emotions rather than show them, and I work toward being balanced & fair, having beauty & creativity around me, but I can also take things too much to extremes.
Sally, here's a little bit about Taurus. When you have your little tyke, I can do an astrological natal chart which will show the different aspects of his (his?) personality.
TAURUS:
For centuries, the bull has been a symbol of strength, tenacity, virility, and power. Left alone, a bull will happily graze; but if it is bothered, it will charge! Similarly, the Taurus personality is thought to be calm and peaceful, but when their anger is aroused, their temper can be wicked. Taureans are often quite disturbed by sudden changes--they prefer their lives stable and secure.
Taureans are thought to be persevering, strong individuals, who can also be quite "bull-headed". They can be dogged and determined when they have a goal in mind. Taureans are also quite sensual and, often, self-indulgent "beasts".
