Illustrating children's books can be the hard part; it depends on how talented you are with drawing.

It's way too flat over there in Billings! As a native Missoulian, I much prefer the mountains...

I'm an all around starving artist (writer, actress, singer, artist) so I can draw... except people, it's hard for me to draw people. I can draw animals really well though it's just I haven't been able to get to working on my illustrations because my graphics tablet is acting weird and I don't really have the patience to deal with it right now ha ha ha :)I already have to struggle with it to illustrate the first issue of my graphic novel for my book arts class and it's quite annoying... stupid technology always breaking on me :(

Thanks, Dustin. Believe me, it's a long time for me to wait too!

Dustin the wind Crazy little brown owl (dustpancrazy) | 37 comments James, check out this discussion thread I posted in the Bulletin Board Folder, I think your book would be a good fit when it's more readily available - maybe later this year? :-)

(about 2.5 hours from you, Amelia)

And Steve, I lived in Portland for 3 years growing up. Back in 1989 or so. I think I was in 3rd grade. :)

Moving from there to here was a shock because there we don't have all the trees here, but now, when I go back to portland, I get turned around because I can't see the horizon. I always know where I am here because I can see so far. :)

message 79: by Amelia (new)
