The following book has an incorrect Original Publication dateTrue Grit shown with an original pub date of 1952

indicate that this was first published in 1968 (that's 16 years later)
I had originally hoped to use this for a task that requires a pub date before 1956 and this was approved based on the date currently shown in Goodreads. However, as I listened to the audio the afterword specifically states it was first published in 1968, so I started researching it further.

Does someone have a way of finding out how many pages this edition has? Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, SpyI'm listening to the audio and need to use the most popular mmp for length, but the record doesn't list pages and neither did World Cat.

WorldCat had 369 in the description, I'm thinking that's the page number. Amazon also lists that ISBN with 369 and other editions are around there. I'll update it. :)

I need proof of a print version of this relatively short book for Delicious Dee's task of 2 books with fewer than 500 page total. Amazon lists a paperback, goodreads does not.Thank you!!

WorldCat claims 489 pages and both B&N and Amazon say 576. There's a librarian's note on the edition you linked that says "Holding this exact edition with correct ISBN and cover in my hands. Page count is definitely 479, not 547 (see an alternate cover edition that was created for 547).". The alternate one that lists 556 pages (not sure why it isn't 547) is Proven Guilty if you want to use that one instead.
There's clearly something different about the 2007 reprint. Not sure what it would be, but since there's an alternate edition set up already, it shouldn't be changed.

Could a librarian help with this problem? I would like to read The Thunder Lord by Kathryn Le Veque for a task but the page number on Goodreads is incorrect. It has 36 pages in the description when it is really 289 pages.

Hello, would someone be able to help me? I'd like to use the book "A Dog's Journey" for Task 10.10 Haiku as my edition has the subtitle: "Another Novel for Humans" written on it - making the title 7 words long. It was suggested I ask for an edit to the title, and I wondered if that was possible. Thank you for your help!

Hello,Could a librarian check a page number for me? My edition of Kim Thuy's Mãn (ISBN 9780345813800) has 139 pages of text, then a permissions page, the author bio, a note about the type, and then a bunch of blank leaves - but when I checked the GR page for that edition Mãn it lists as 160 pages. Thanks!
Can someone fix the "original" publication date on this book?The author was BORN in 1952, so clearly this book was not written then ....

The other day Cait updated/added an edition for me, but now that update has disappeared. this is what I posted:I've read the Kindle version of Seducing Charlotte, my edition of the book has the same cover as the paperback version. Seducing Charlotte.
She added a Kindle edition with the different cover and now it's gone.
I'm on my phone right now so I can't do it but I assume that the farther up on the ladder librarians found that there are two editions, one with this cover and one with another. So they replaced the original cover. Or some other issue that I am just too new to be aware of.Someone here might know. Or you could try posting in the Goodreads Librarians group to see what the mods say :)
So what has happened is that you aren't supposed to replace the cover of any existing entry on goodreads. To add a new cover, you must create a new edition. I've added the edition you want here: Seducing Charlotte
Unfortunately, because there are two editions with the same ASIN number, I can't give this one its own ASIN - you'll have to manually search for it.
I just checked and found it, I think, here.Is this your book?
For some reason it does not come up on search but can be found in the "Combine" list.
You can also find it if you click on the "All Editions".

Could someone please fix the hardcover information for Cloud, Stone, Sun, Vine? No page numbers are listed, but the ebook version (Cloud, Stone, Sun, Vine: Poems Selected and New) does have that information.According to my library, there are 144 pages.

Cold Mountain ... currently states "first published 1994" I have the first edition in my hands and it clearly states 1997. Looking through several on-line web sites everything states it was published in 1997.

Is it possible for anyone with library status to note that
indeed has a subtitle? It appears both on the cover itself and when it appears in reviews on GR, it is referred to in full with the words in the subtitle appearing after a colon. Thank you.
