That's so true, Sarah! I'm always pushing books, trying to get people hooked on books I like. " Hey, man, just try it! The ones from the library are free, heh heh heh!!!" And authors like Lynda Barry are our suppliers, cooking up our drug of choice.
Sorry Nick! I forgot the T-shirt, but I did think of you when I saw the sticker that said "DARE TO HOPE. Prepare to be disappointed." (and I'm still not sure if it's pro or anti Obama)
Lynda Barry was sooooooo nice! I mean seeing her panel was definitely the highlight of the con, especially since I saw her a couple of times at the Drawn & Quarterly booth, she signed my book, we chatted for a while, she remembered my favorite strip of hers (it's the one with the dog whose butt looks like a penny), she drew a little sketch on the inside of the book for me, she said she'd look me up next time she's in PDX, but I don't want to go on....

Oh man. I successfully avoided reading this thread when it was titled "I hate the smell of your farts."Also, YAY! for Sarah. :)
I cannot believe that there was a conversation in here about the smell of farts! WOW! (snide smile because I found this whole thread HILARIOUS)
